Default In Retrospect

I should have entered, maybe i still will, but I missed two big opportunities.

Wednesday night, I entered the UB 8:40 PM ET $10 + 1 O/8 tourney, finished 3rd, for $225

Sunday afternoon, I entered a 'Stars 500 FPP satellite for the $200 + 15 NLHE, and won that, then unregistered and took the T$.

Damn. That would make a bankroll of about $455 after about 450 hands, but who knows what I would've done to screw it up in between.

Technically, using FPPs doesn't count, but yes, you should definitely enter anyway. It's fun.

I need to find myself a nice freeroll to get back in it. Still plenty of time left.

I may, depending on my work schedule. Point of procedure, though. Why are using FPP's any different than entering a freeroll? If that's just the way the rules were established at the beginning, that's fine, but the two seem analogous to me.

I don't know how you people can tolerate these tables. The stuff I'm seeing is insane.

Yeah, at some point you have to balance those horribly bad hands where your flopped set of Aces is beat by not one but two players (of the six calling/raising to the river) with a rivered sucker straight......WITH, the flopped full house with six callers capped through the whole hand (semi-bluffing their flush/straight draws, you know) to make their flush AND straight and pay you off with a HUGE pot.

Welcome to the wild world of Micro-limits...

Apparently, there is no actualy logic used when playing limit poker for these stakes. I honestly can't even believe some of the things I am seeing. I'd post some, but I wouldn't even know where to start.

This will likely be my final session at these stakes. At least with NL, I'd have a chance to punish these morons...
