"Sick" doesn't even begin to describe it. When I got to the Rio tonight, there were 2 Final Tables going on. I damn near did a double take when I recognized (after seeing like 2 pics of him ever) Madsen at one of them. This is his 4th final table this year, in four different games! They were three handed when I left and he was still in. CardPlayer says he's still in now.

The crazy thing is, this kid has totally come from NOWHERE. He's not even "known" online or anything. I heard (I don't know if this is true or not) he got staked by his grandparents for the first event he played in... and then I guess he parlayed those winnings into everything else. It's just insane.

Hmmm... when EXACTLY was your bday, JD? I just checked: It was the 21st. That means you're going to miss some of the earlier events the year you tunr 21, but you could literally have our first bracelet within DAYS of your birthday! Now that would be sweet.

JD in 2008. Print it.

Question

Madsen finished 3rd in this event... this kid is unreal.

He should do well in the Main event.
