What does it mean when....
not sure if this belongs here or in general discussion but...
what does it mean when people write "level?" on 2+2? I always see that and have no clue what it means. |

level 0 = thinking about your cards and flop
level 1 = thinking what your opponent has level 2 = thinking what your opponent thinks you have level 3 = thinking what you think he thinks you have and so on. (these levels might be wrong but they are close) Leveled would be. If you had aces and I c/r you all in and you folded because i knew you had aces and knew you would fold even though i have junk. Leveled is basically code for outsmarted.

lol....the term really has nothing to do with poker.
level is most common when someone writes something sarcastic....but someone else reading it doesn't know and treats it seriously. - maybe I just got leveled in this post |

1. Knowing what you have.
2. Knowing what your opponent has. 3. Knowing what your opponent thinks you have. 4. Knowing what your opponent thinks you think he has. 5. Knowing what your opponent thinks you think he thinks you have. In theory it can go forever but it can probably be argued that even top pro's don't really go behind level 5

This is what he was referring to, I'm sure.
As in, "Is this a level?" |
