Default Mega Cooler Deep In Stars MTT

down to 18 left. im about 5 of 18 in chips. in the $22 stars mtt. player in early to mid position min raises it to 4k. i call out of the sb with 76 hearts, it was only 3k to me. was getting over 2.5 to 1. so i called. and bingo catch my beauty flop. 567. top two pair. putting him on either TT and up. or a whiffed AK/AQ. if he does have that overpair im getting paid off. so rather than check raise him here on the flop and give him the ability to make a big laydown. i lead right out for 11k. (also bet there just in case he has nothing, checks and allows the BB to see a free card for a one card straight, being that the board was 765) so i lead out for 11k and he re pops me to 40k. so i say to myself, bingo i got him where i want him. i then re raise all the way up to 74k total and go all in. pot was over 135k at this point. winner here is chipleader.

and was i ever fucking cooled, in this dirty set up flop. i played great for hours, was on my way to an ft. lol and then this shit came out of left field.

I think he shows up with 55-77 and 89 here more often than he shows up with TT-AA or AQ+

fold preflop.

playing 67h OOP at that point in the tourney can be really tough IMO. It can also get you into lots of trouble, like with this flop.
