Yeah, that was fun. He actually asked (early on) if I wanted to play these for $1000. I mean, I so very badly WANTED to, but if these were $1000 matches, I would have lost it.

I've seen him around too, but I am telling you - at least yesterday - this guy was ALL gamble.

I wonder if he's just got money and enjoys blowing it on poker. The "it's all luck" thing could easily be schtick trying to con me into playing higher stakes (he also mentioned playing cash games), but would he really intentionally get it in bad THAT many times? Seems like a risky con.

Especially when he declined and disappeared, instead of pushing for those higher stakes game or actually changing his style and starting to play well.
