Not sure if you were aware, but the Party Million guarantee tourney had SEVERE problems last Sunday.

Anyways, with 753 remaining, they paused the tournament (FOR SOME PEOPLE ONLY!!! ) The lucky few were able to steal blinds from the unlucky.

This email is in regards to the Sunday Million Tournament that you played in on Sunday August 6th, 2006.

With 753 players remaining in the tournament we experienced some technical difficulties. Our Technology team attempted to restart the tournament several times, and in the process many players were unable to play, while others were able to continue unaffected. Ultimately the tournament was cancelled with 252 players remaining.

We have made a decision to reimburse all players that were originally placed 253rd to 753rd with the money that they would have been entitled to had the tournament been cancelled with 753 players remaining. All of the 252 players that were paid based on the cancellation policy will keep the money that was paid to them.

750th Place Total: (753 * $321.78) = $242,300.34
Remaining Prizepool: ($1,072,600 - $242,300.34) = $830,299.66
50% Divided Equally: $415,149.83
50% Divided Equally per Player: $551.33
50% Divided by Chip Count: $415,149.83

Based on our Multi-Table Tournament Cancellation Policy,
had the tournament been cancelled with 753 players remaining, you would have received $321.78 (750th Place) + $551.33 (50% divided equally) + 363.95 (your share of the 50% divided by chip count). With 753 players remaining your chip count was 23508.

The total you would have received: ($321.78+$551.33+363.95) You were already paid 321.78 for being placed 612 in the tournament. That amount will be subtracted from the additional amount we will be adding to your account.
In addition, we are refunding the $15 entry fee as well as a $100 bonus because of the problems that you faced during the tournament.

Within the next few days expect to see a total of 1030.28 added to your account. ($321.78+$551.33+363.95 +$15.00+$100.00)

I deeply apologize that you were unable to complete the tournament as you would have expected to. As a result of these problems we have identified a technical issue that will be corrected soon. We have also made modifications to our internal policies regarding the restarting/cancellation of our tournaments.
