It will work. I actually work for TD. Just be aware though that if you have any issues with the card, e.g. double charges or credits not going back to your account for poker deposits, we can't help you dispute the charges as they are gambling related. As well, the purchases are considered cash like transactions so there is no grace on interest.

Oh and as an additional comment, if you don't have one already, I would recommend getting a US$ Borderless bank account so that the $25 annual fee can be waived.
