Anyone having trouble depositing with Intertops?
I deposited Cdn $225, the equivalent of $200 US. I've been credited with a bonus of $25. Wasn't it supposed to be 50%, therefore $100?
Second problem: Only $22.50 showed up as available for play. When I tried to "buy chips" only that amount was available. I'm emailing back and forth with support, but so far they say everything is fine and I should check my account history, but I can't find anywhere to see my account history! The "bank" within the poker lobby only shows me my "Intertops Balance", which is $.50, and the $38.55 that I've worked my $22 up to. The "account" information on the site when I sign in () only gives me the two options for "Payment" (which I already used) and cashing out. So far, colour me unimpressed. |

When I deposited $300 I was given $330 as my account balance, I don't know anything beyond that but hopefully when I play the 750 hand's the rest or the full bonus will be credited. FYI I signed up through TP.

750? I thought it was 700 hands? They'll only pay you up to $100 bonus, not more. Let me check if they've paid me my bonus yet. I cleared it early this morning.
Mathbabe - That's awful news, but everything on my end seems fine. I deposited $200 usd and that's what's in there plus the profit I made. No deposit bonus, yet. I've emailed them just now to find out when they'll add the bonus. Will get back to you as soon as I have some information of my own. Last edited by bunny; 05-24-06 at 01:00 AM. |

Sounds like MB got a really shitty exchange rate. Don't you deal with US$ for your poker site deposits, MB? I figured you'd put Canadian $ into NEteller (or whatever), and it would convert then.... and then you'd treat it as US$ until it got back to your bank account.

That's what I usually do... I put it on VISA and like any other USD purchase, it shows the USD amount and the Canadian conversion on my VISA bill.
However, Intertops defaulted to Cdn (I guess from my address) and I didn't see any obvious way to change it. I figured it didn't matter. Did the other Canucks here (besides Bunny, who has been fine) have any problem? Now that I'm reassured that I'm not just missing something obvious, I'll email them again demanding to know where the other 90% of my money is! |

Mathbabe - Did you get an immediate response from Intertops? Reason I'm asking is, I've sent them 2 emails regarding my bonus deposit (which I haven't received, yet) and no news.
TalkingPoker - When reaching our 700 hands, don't we immediately receive our bonus deposit (like other sites) or does it take a few days? I think Mathbabe is on to something here. Is it possible you have an old ad? |

I have had pretty good response - I've been emailing with creditcard@intertops rather than support@, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I'm sure they have to be quicker to respond to "where did my money go???" than "where did my bonus go???"!
It's cleared up now - somehow my actual deposit went into the casino, which I must have done, but the bonus went into poker. They moved my money from casino to poker and now I can buy chips with it. I'm suspicious about this whole bonus thing too. It seems odd that we got 10% immediately. I don't see any way to see "pending bonuses" or anything like that. On the upside, I've played over 200 hands, 120 of them raked, and I'm at about 3.6 BB/100 for those hands. I can always find at least one, sometimes two, $1/$2 Limit tables; and although the players are tighter than at Party I've found a half-dozen online ATMs already. PokerTracker and PokerAce HUD are working great, although I wish PAHUD had built-in support for the mini table view. I guess I'll have to fiddle with that. Oh, and my Mom and Dad sent me a cheque for my birthday that just about covers my deposit. :-) |

What 10%? I didn't get anything!
Is it your birthday today? If yes...well: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! |

Oh, sorry - I was confused with nflchad's post, where he says he deposited $300 and got $330. It seems like he and I each got 10%.

Intertops Response email.
Hope this helps. I'm a little upset about this, myself now. Hopefully everything will work itself out. But for those of you who haven't deposited yet, here's something very IMPORTANT you should know. (or maybe you already knew this, and I didn't) In any case, here it is.
I had difficulty signing up, I'm pretty sure most of us did. In any event, I finally got through and deposited $200 in the Intertops account. I then noticed I needed to buy my chips. Thinking my initial deposit was made in Intertops, I only brought forth from that account $50. This is where the problem arises. They count the $50 as being the initial first deposit into Intertops. And have given me only $25 for it. Stating I have met my criteria of 175 raked hands. If I knew I'd have brought the whole $200, but I didn't know. I thought if I needed more, I'd go to the Intertops account and get more, which lucky me, there was no need to. In any case, I fulfilled my criteria of 700+ raked hands and whether I deposited in the wrong section it was still in the Intertops account. I should be receiving full credit of 50 % on my initial deposit of $200, don't you think? Will keep you posted, once I hear from them. Last edited by bunny; 05-24-06 at 07:52 PM. |

GG Intertops!
Dear Bunny,
The bonus is based on the amount credited to your Intertops Poker account, as we have two other products, the funds credited to the general Intertops account can be used on any of these services, and the terms and conditions stipulate the bonus is only for the Intertops Poker. We appreciate that you were unaware of this stipulation, so we will make an exception in this case, and credit the difference of $75.00 to your Intertops Poker account. We look forward to your continued support of Intertops Poker. Sincerely Nekisha Guess my day emailing them wasn't a total waste of time. Real nice people at Intertops. ps: Eat your words eeejit. |

Completely and utterly confused
Anyone have a LINKY with the bonus requirements?
From what I'm gleaning here its: A) 175 raked hands (for my 100$ deposit) B) Raked hands count only at the 1/2$ table Is this correct? LINKY to the bonus requirements?????

Here it is from the horse's mouth. (Straight from Intertops)
Terms & Conditions: 1. The player is eligible for this bonus only with a minimum deposit of $50 or more. 2. The bonus is active only on the first time deposit. 3. The bonus amount would be credited to the player's account after the raked hand criteria is met. 4. Maximum bonus is $100. 5. This offer is exclusive only to Interlopes and cannot be used for IntertopsCasino.com or Intertops Sportsbook. 6. By accepting the bonus, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions and the wagering requirements mentioned. 7. Discrepancies, if any are subject to the final decision of Intertops.com Wagering Requirements: 1. The bonus would be released only if the player meets the wagering requirements which is 7 times the bonus amount in raked hands. 2. The bonus is valid for 30 days only. ------------------ They stipulate only 1/2 tables will be counted towards rake. But I and a couple others have tried it with lower limits and it works. GL |

Everything is spelled out in the original thread AND the link you need to use is there as well:
For a $100 deposit, it would be 350 raked hands (50% * $100 * 7). |

I must be stupid.....WTF does that mean??
So, 100$ initial deposit = 50$ bonus after playing X number of hands that produce a rake of 350$? 1/2$ table or any blinds?

No, it means for a $50 bonus, you need to play 50 * 7 = 350 raked hands.
This is pretty standard. Party requires 10x, for comparison. |

1 rake per hand = 350 raked hands
