Default Poker Tracker follow up

Got Poker Tracker last week. Downloaded the trial version and then ten seconds later, I bought it.

If you don't have it, you are missing out like a mother (shut yo mouth).

Positives:

1) I've been profitting every month, but when I looked at my stats I was semi-loose/aggressive preflop, agressive post-flop. I did not like that semi-loose moniker at all. Actually, it pissed me right off.

So I look at my stat breakdown. See, they show you what you've done with every hand, from every position, if you raise, etc.

Realized I was playing the right hands, but making poor decisions with my medium pairs preflop. Problem solved. Leak sealed.

2) I imported the hands that I'd played from Party (started in Nov) and have about 10,000 hands played. Great sample size for me and I've got notes and stats on a couple thousand players plus.

Used the auto ratings system and now have a nice fishlist. Transferred to my buddy list on Party and voila. A list of fish and what tables I can find them at. Working great already.

3) You can even set up a little table that has the stats (updated in almost real time) of the people you're playing with. Track them from hand to hand and see if it's profittable to even be playing with them

GO AND GET THIS SOFTWARE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I love this software. There are so many players the names get repetative. I can't remember everyone (I only remember some of the stronger players that I see regularly). But, seeing someone regularly does not mean they are good. Poker tracker showed me that.

The best part is replaying the hands of your opponents, with pot odds and win % shown while the hand is being replayed. You can write notes about particular tendencies about an opponent.

It is priceless and the $$ paid toPT is well worth the increase in your own skills (because you can view your mistakes). It is a complete poker book keeper.

Default Question

If you download the trial version can you import hand histories and get an idea of what it does, IE is it a working trial?

Yeah, you can, but what happened to me was I downloaded it, imported, and that was that. You only get 1000 hands and they were in there before I could play.

So, I didn't get to see it in action during a hand in real time. That said, even seeing what it could do with past hands was enough for me.

I woulda paid double the $55.

Get it.

Damn, I knew you could replay hands, but I didn't know they showed pot odds etc. Sweet.
