Default Don't miss Daniel's latest blog entry

I jumped into a 4000-8000 mixed game. In the mix: Hold'em, Stud, Omaha H/L, Stud H/L, Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold'em, 2-7 NL One draw, and 2-7 Triple Draw. The no limit games are played with a 1000-2000 blind and a 1000 ante with a 100,000 cap- meaning that the most you could lose on any given hand was $100,000.

When I sat in, it was Barry Greenstien, Chip Reese, Doyle Brunson, Gus Hansen, Lyle Berman and myself. Not too longer after Phil Ivey joined us along with Johnny Chan.

Sounds like a fun little game between friends.

Well David Pham now leads it but its the POY race... you get pts for final tables u make and stuff. Well this is the final tourney of the year so if Dan ends up with the most pts... he wins the POY.

Well Pham leads now by like 109 and Dan in 2nd and John in 3rd. The main event will decide who wins it.

I've got ot admit, when I first started following/watching poker, I thought DN was a bit of a dweeb. Stupid to ever judge someone on first impression, tv coverage etc. But the more I see, hear, and read about and from Daniel, the more admiration I have for him. His site is great, and he seems to have as much integrity/class as you can have as one of the top poker players in the world.

Really? And you don't know what the blinds were the last day of the WSOP? Or where to find the results, for that matter:

How peculiar
