I'm amazed I did this well to be honest, though I do seem to fare rather well in 50-100 player tournies. Certainly was a blast.

I'm surprised I came in 17th, considering I was all the way at the bottom with 51 people to go and pretty much crawled to 17th.

Tony, 1 hell of a job short-stacked buddy.

If I could have gotten one or 2 more decent hands, I may have also made the final table. I got AA once and now I wish I would have slow-played it a bit.

Um, experience with a short-stack that is LOL .

Is there another one next weekend? I'm in if there is.

Stupid JJ, that hand is lightning in a bottle. If I could have doubled up there, it might have been 4 players from TP at the final table.

I probably should have focussed more on this tourney, since I haven't played hold'em in so long. Unfortunately I had a sit-n-go and a multi sit-n-go at Empire at the same time.

How come my name isn't in bold ?

I only bolded the final table guys who got points... I'm actually not certain who everyone was that was representing TPF. The other guys changed their hometowns to the name of the site they were representing... maybe we should do that next time.

The forum tourney was a blast. Thanks to all for the opportunity. I was surprised i made it to the final table, what with the crappy cards i was getting the entire game. I had to adjust my play because of it, bluffling when i thought i could get away with it. I took way too many chances at the final table and it eventually caught up with me. I did see the talk of collusion, but wasnt paying much attention to the observers. I dont know who was being accussed of colluding.

It's funny how you have so many critics watching the final table and commenting on your play. UFHoss33 was one of those "observers" who said "PKRBABY you are the worst player i have ever seen". What makes me really laugh at this statement is the fact that this guy was talking trash when he himself finished in 43rd place. I hope to meet up with this trash talker real soon, so i can show him how to play the game to win, without trash talking.

See ya at the next forum tourney UFHoss33...I look forward to a few showdowns with you.

Hey PKRBABY... welcome to the forum. What site did you play under yesterday?

I was unable to watch the final table... what sort of collusion talk was going on? Was there any evidence of it, or just the usual "this site is rigged!" crazy speculation?

I doubt there was any collusion, but even if there was, look at the results. Is there any doubt we are the best?

Lou and TP, you guys didn't even play and we still had I think 5 top 20s.

I especially liked the guy who kept telling me I was, "so easy to read" after I made some aggressive plays on the button, only to fold to a reraise (which happened a lot at the final table, I know).

I was proud of my comeback though, "You're pretty easy to read too. In the chat box." Hehe.

Yeah, the collusion talk was stupid. ChillyWilly was the one starting in with that. I'm pretty sure he was talking about me to! I was on the phone with my dad and ignoring the chat when all of a sudden he said something about me dumping my blinds to someone.

Oh well.

It was fun! Looking forward to the next one.

Dont sweat that ChiliWilly guy... that guy just cracks me up. He was at my table in the beginning of the tourney and someone got pissed off because he made a huge raise with a flush draw then hit it on the turn.

Chili then went on to tell him about the semi-bluffing chapter in Slansky's Theory of Poker book.

I really didn't notice much trash talking by people, but then again i tend to just concentrate on my cards during the game.

The few times where a problem occured was when people tried to bluff the pot when someone was all in?!!? It kept Tony in and a few others in the top 20, this was such a lame play that people invariably questioned the motives behind them, i think it was just crap play personally.

Also the trend of not calling short stacked players when it would have cost virtually nothing for the player to call. Over and over again people let the short stacked players win cheap pots and not make the correct play. If your from TP or not and there is a chance to take you out at the business end of the tourney certain plays have to be done.

True, you've got to have SOMETHING to play with, I know there was one time I really wanted to call an allin, but I only had 42o Without seeing all the cards, who can know for sure?

I poked around the other forums a bit, looks like Ace10 are the real whiners. I dropped a nice civil post on there, though I did get a small zing at the guy who called my avatar a dog.

Yeah, I made that crap play. Renegade was all-in, I called, Chilly stayed along for the ride. I guess some people like to check it down at that point and try to get one of the two hands to knock out Renegade.

Personally, I wanted Renegade's chips and I didn't want Chilly to add to his stack. So I made a decent-sized bet at the dry side with 3rd pair and got Chilly out. I was ahead too but then the turn helped Renegade. Chilly got on me about that one. I'm playing for PShabi not Chilly.

There were a couple of times where I think people expected me (with the chip lead) to call a short stack. I let go some trash hands (if I would've hand ANYTHING I would've rode with it) in these situations. Mostly it was my holdings and the I didn't want to just let chips go.

It was my first time at a MTT final table and I'm sure I made some basic mistakes. I'd never go easy on anyone because they were TP though. The only decision I made with that in mind was the chop at the end.

If I'm playing anyone from another forum, I would've played it out. It took some time before I finally decided to chop with Taja. My gut said, no, but I'm really competitve.

Anyway, I'm closing the door on this tourney. Still can't believe I got there. I think the biggest thing for me was having some pretty big cards and people pushing all-in against them. 2nd hand, I had AA on a King high flop and I was praying the guy had AK. He did and pushed 'em in with virtually all of his chips still in his stack.

I got QQ vs. 33 and QQ vs. 44 too. Big cards help!

You have to remember I made the request to split the money when i was on 71k you was on 39k. I didn't care who won really, was just happy that that prick in 3rd didn't. Thats why I called his 10k all in with 10,6.

When he had 460 chips he musta hit AA ak jj on the bounce and was pushing it about. I found it was pretty easy to read him tho, he always went all in with decent hands and bet about half his chips when he wanted to bluff you off the pot.

Oh yeah, you definitely had a good lead when you offered to split. I, normally would say no, even with 1k in chips. Yeah, I was happy when you made that call.

I noticed that read too. He would push-in with good cards and just min raise with anything else. I was in a 92os funk for about 5 orbits but when I finally got something worth looking at and he did that small raise, I pushed-in and got him off of me for a while. He was a bitch to play against from the right.

Just went over to A10 to try and back you up a little. Not trying to start trouble, trying to be civil, but COLLUSION? I gave up big time potential cash game profits for 4 hours on a Sunday night to play in a $10 MTT. COLLUSION?

Anyway, domination has it's price. Talkingpoker is just the prettiest girl at the dance and all the other bitches are standing in the corner with their KMART gowns hating on her!

I managed to dodge a bullet against you once. Held 99, player to my right went allin (with 88). I thought about it a bit, got a bad feeling and folded, then you called him with KK. Probably not a good move for me overall, but sometimes you gotta go with your gut, served me well enough it would appear.

Yep, I was like are you going to call Tony (in my head)? I knew you were thinking. I would've overcalled too but I wasn't really wanting to weaken my hand and go 3-way. Nice fold.

Easy big guy.......

But you're right. If ProTilt had taken the top few spots, I suspect the A10 guys would be saying they colluded... And if A10 did, maybe the PT guys would be complaining.... or maybe WE would be.

Me personally - If I saw something "fishy" going on, I might get suspicious, but I'd need more evidence before I'd cry foul... That's sore loser talk.

Okay, so seriously, when is the next one running? I see no reason why we can't make it a weekly thing.

And yeah, we should all change our city to talkingpoker.com in the options window, easier to identify who everyone is from so we can "collude" .

If anyone from the other forums read this, it is only a joke so take it easy, we may be a forum community but we are all cut-throats in the end.

I would not recommend that.
You may have trouble cashing out.
Not worth the potential hassle.
