Default Para going to extreme legnths???

I just got this email....

Dear me,

You may not be able to quit the day job just yet, but this month you could earn more just by playing poker at Paradise!

How much more? We've put special Paradise Payday bonuses into thousands of player accounts and you could have up to $10000 credit sitting in your pending bonus account at ParadisePoker.

Getting your hands on this cash couldn't be easier - simply play more to get more.

For the next 30 days only, when you play on any cash table you'll receive one point for every game raked $1 dollar or more. Playing in games with limits of $2/$4 and up will likely get you a point in every game. For every tournament you play in, you receive one point for every $1 dollar in tournament entry fee paid.

At every 100 points, we'll release $5 of your pending credit as REAL CASH into your Money Available balance! The more you play, the more of the Payday bonus you can turn into real cash and we'll let you know every time you've had money released via a Payday pop-up in the Paradise software. But remember, you only have 30 days to turn as much of your bonus into real cash as possible.

Check your account now to see what kind of Payday you've got. Start playing and you could make today and every day for the next 30 days a Paradise Payday.

We look forward to seeing you at the tables!

So i log in, my pending bonus says - $10,100.

I have 30 days to clear $10k? at 100 hands per $5.

My response - ummmm no!

I would do that, I mean if you can just p,ay non stop for 10k dolllars that would be a helluva deal. just think if you can make 10K in 30 days, that is alot of money.

I know there is abit of bad feeling around paradise poker at the momment due to the actions they were forced to take with the US law, and I am not the greatest at giving advice about Bonus collecting.

But after reading your post 10k in 30 days at a rate of $5 every 100 hands sounds very doable, Its 6.30am here and ive just go back from a gig so perhaps I am tired, to clear the 10k will take what, figure wise?.

Perhaps I am tired, by doable I mean not by the average player but by the regular winning player who plays ect ect ect, I am tired I mean by the like of JD TP and some others.

If Pokerstars offererd this bonus would the likes of JD TP and so be rubbing there hands with the knowledge that they knew that they could clear 10k in 30 days at theses rates?

i think this translate into 5% rakeback for tourneys and probably 10-20% rakeback for cash games. lame.

For players 2/4 and up it looks like it would clear ok, but taken as a change from what was one of the easier bonii to clear, it REALLY sucks.

I would also say that if someone is evaluating the site to clear this bonus, they should consider that the player base is drying up and they do not support real time PT stats (manual requests of HHs to email - 100 max BTW so you have to remember to do it all the time if you are multi-tabling).

I would say you are likely going to be at one of a few tables at your limit sitting with mostly others trying to do the same thing, which could make for a tough game, IMO.

I didn't break down the math 100%, but at a glance I can tell you that I would earn a lot more in rakeback at Full Tilt (which is PT supported) playing the same number of hands. I wouldn't ever even consider this. And palying 200,000 hands in one month is absurd - well, for most humans, anyway.

hence me saying no ty.

I mean its prolly more than 200,000 hands, most hands arent raked . Youll be hitting tonnes of hands.

Sadly, i have things to do.

I need to get rakeback at FT though...
