Full Tilt Fuckups
Without getting started on event 1 crashing or anything, heres my night from last night.
Reboot the laptop before event 1 incase im on for a while and it gets slow after 6 hours of being on. REconnect to broadband, log into FT, it wont let me in, says i need to contact support, so i do.... their first response...... Full Tilt Poker - Support <support@fulltiltpoker.com> wrote: Hello Phil, Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support. At this time, your account has been reopened. Unfortunately your computer became suspended when a suspended account logged onto the site from your computer or you logged onto the site from their computer. Should a suspended player attempt to use your computer again, it will become suspended. okkkkk.......... so i send this... Hi. I just tried to log into my account, and once again i am getting the error message saying to contact support. You just said you had fixed this problem but it still wont let me in. Background - yesterday, i rebooted in time for the FTOPS event 1, so my computer wasnt running slow, so i logged off your server, rebooted, and came back on to play, which is when the error emssage occured. I then asked a friend what the problem was, he said to try to log into his account from this computer to see if it was my account of the server as a whole. I couldnt get on either, so i sent my emails to you guys. Problems - 1 - I still cannot log into your site, my Player ID is eejit101 2 - I am about $300 down at the moment. I was about to start a $69+$6 satty to event #13, and FTOPS #1, neither of which i played, so who knows if i would have cashed. I would love to have some kind of refund/compensation for this, as paying $300 to play events and not playing then is a waste. At no time did a banned account try and log in from my laptop last night, i do not have a wireless connection or a wide IP. There is 1 broadband point in my house, with 2 people living here, and the other one, my girlfriend, was asleep. seems fair imo, then i finally get this back... Hello Phil, Thank you for your patience and cooperation during our investigation, your account has been opened, and it is now available for use. As stated in our previous correspondence, to reduce your risk of being associated with fraudulent accounts, please do not allow other players to log into Full Tilt Poker from your computer(s). In addition, do not log into your Full Tilt Poker account from the computers of other players. Finally, player-to-player transfers and shared payment processors with fraudulent accounts will result in account suspension. Only thing i can come up with is someone tried to access my account from a computer while i was on it or something. Meh. Reckon ill get the $$$$$? |

Are you saying that you registered, logged off and then could not get back in to play them?
From your second email it was not very clear that you were saying you paid for the satellites (before logging off) and then could not get in to play them. I was confused what you meant by "I'm down $300", I figured you were just stuck on the site and were not able to play into the events you wanted to. If you did preregister and then get locked out, you might be able to get the money back, but probably need to be a little clearer about why you expect "refund/compensation". BTW, I find it better to never ask two questions in emails to support. They almost always answer the first and then ignore anything after that.

Seriously? If you really broke bdawg's record of 15, that's freaking sweet.
As for what's going on, don't you think trying to log in with your friend's account probably made things worse? Especially after they told you to not log on with other people's accounts??? Lastly, if the transfer I made to you the other day ends up getting my account suspended, as per this, I am NOT going to be happy: Maybe you could, you know, not do whatever it is you do that gets your accounts and those of the people who you transfer with suspended. Just for a change of pace, sometime. You know, mix it up. |

I mean, I don't know how you counted coinflips, but if you did it like bdawg did (all in preflop, pair vs two overcards) and really lost that 50/50 battle 19 straight times, that is INSANE. Reverse luck like this kinda explains how donkeys can take down huge tourneys, huh? As for what's going on, don't you think trying to log in with your friend's account probably made things worse? Especially after they told you to not log on with other people's accounts??? Dude, keep up, stop giving me shit at every opportunity, i did that BEFORE they told me that,t o see if it my the network down or my account. I got my first email 6 hours later from them Not giving you shit, dude. Just trying to "keep up." Obviously it wasn't a network problem if you were getting an error telling them your account was locked and to contact them, so I thought you meant you didn't get that far and were just timing out at first. Then you tried the friend's account and then got your account locked. Do you see how that makes sense and your story doesn't? I mean, who in their right mind would think the network was down if they got an error telling them their account was blocked and to contact customer support??? Lastly, if the transfer I made to you the other day ends up getting my account suspended, as per this, I am NOT going to be happy Yeah, as you have read, i dunno what happened, i didnt log in as a banned player, i was OFFLINE the entire time for fucks sake. The only thing FT will say now is it seems it was a transfer of $5 to a banned account. Which is funny, as their account is temporarily suspended due to someone hacking theirs. good times. And you don't see the relevence in this, as far as I am related? Maybe you could, you know, not do whatever it is you do that gets your accounts and those of the people who you transfer with suspended. Just for a change of pace, sometime. You know, mix it up. Maybe you could, you know, get the fuck off my back. I posted this as a problem, and FullTilt took over 24 hours to fix it, and all it was in the end is me transfering a friend $5, without him knowing or myself that his account had been attempted to be logged in on at the same time as his was. So, hypothetically, say someone had recently transferred your dumb ass money. And say your dumb ass had your account locked because your " account had been attempted to be logged in on at the same time as his was" or whatever the hell REALLY caused your problem - Even if it was your $5 transfer, whatever - the point is there is a red flag on your account now, so anyone who has transferred to you may also have a red flag on theirs. Do you seriously still not see my reason for concern??? |

ok, i can see your concern, here soem points.
1 - i transfered someone $5 whose account was on hold for someone doing something to it as ive said. 2 - When i tried to log in it said "The system cannot log you in, please contact " or whatever. 3 - i thought it was a server crash or something, so i got a mate to try and another one, who said his FTP software wasnt connecting, so as to try his on mine, i did, same response. You money is fine, you have mine by now i am sure. so we are all good, you have a nice profit, i was up $7k from your transfer, which was nice. And the coinflip thing - 19 is correct. Also - your point about the huge tourneys, i get that is aimed at me. Like ive said, alot of people railed that and have said i was playing veyr well, even against people who are now full tilt pros. In that event i won a pot as an underdog ONCE in the entire game all in, and raced virtually never, i counted 3 or 4 times from my memory. Ill post the HH's from the tourney for your viewing if you wish. |

Or Perhaps, but probably not because it would make way more sense, he was talking about Jamie Gold, Jerry Yang etc etc. I would have to think that is a HUGE win. Yours was a big one not huge though
