10,000 Freeroll At prima sites
$10,000 prize pool
top 130 pay ($10 for 130th up to $2000+ for 1st)....Not sure if this will change when there are more players entered. approx. 7,000 players now 20,000 players max 12/2/04 1PM EST (Signup is open now) Just in case anyone thought the field for the WSOP was becoming a crapshoot at 2-3000 |

their 3000 entrants freerolls are pretty much crapshoots now. i liked it much better when they had 500 person freerolls, even if it was much more difficult to get into them. however, i do like that the prima sites have freerolls that actually pay out a significant chunk of change. the raked hand freerolls were particularly nice, as they often paid out almost 20% of the field when i was playing them.

They just cancelled tournament because they couldnt support it. why would they open a tourney to 20K people. Makes no sense, unless they were just trying to see how high they could go before they crashed. They said they are going to put up 2 5K freerolls, but I only see one 5K.

I can't believe they cancelled the tournament because they couldn't support it. Someone screwed up. I would think that they would make sure that they could support the 20,000 people before they opened a tournament to everyone. It doesnt give much to their reputation.

Wondering about Prima
It's weird. My own experiences have been good.
I just played a pretty good freeroll the other day I was able to turn my free $10 into $50 and cash out (by hard copy check, no less) without a problem So in theory I should be a very satisfied customer. But everything I read is so negative -- stories of them freezing accounts, demanding ridiculous documentation before paying out, and now this. I have a whopping $1.20 left after my last cash out, and while I'm always up for a good freeroll, don't see myself deposititing anytime soon. |

I don't care, PRIMA IS DEE BOMB. It has to be the only site where you can predict the rng. Got that gutshot on the turn and its bet and raised to you in? No problem! Here it comes for ya!

I have been impressed with prima overall. No major problems; and they can be as tough as they want with cashouts if they are trying to verify who you are. It belong to you afterall. At first today I was pissed, but they did split into 2 freerolls, no big deal (although I bagged it and didnt play). After thinking about it more, I wonder if this was sort of a test run for the 100K that is supposed to be coming up on 12/18. they may have been seeing how many they can support. obviously 20K is too much!!

Could have been a test. Expensive test.
I received an email from them saying they've split the $100,000 into 4 preliminaries. Top 10% in each qualify for the finals. |

What exactly did email say?? I havent received one as of yet. I told several people to sign up to play in the FR, hope they arent backing off of it. I havent actually seen anything about it on the site. I only see something about a 5K festive FR?? and they are running sats. for it.
