First Live Poker Tournament

As i said a while back, i went to Aruba for the week last week. The second night i was there they had a 25$ re-buy tournament. around 30 people entered and we started with 3k in chips. Surprisingly, i wasn't too nervous once things got underway. I only have a few hands but ill throw them out there to give a little bit more detail:

After about 3 hands I pick up AK in late position and raise it up 4x the BB (there was ALOT of players who tried to limp every single hand) and the flop came AA2, some donkey went all in and i call, he had A8 and i double up 3 hands in.

I was cold decked for a bit after that hand, but eventually picked up JJ UTG. I raise 4x BB and one guy goes all in for around 1.5k when i had like 5k. I call, he flips K10 and i take him out.

A few hands later i have q10 in the BB and i get a free look at a QQ8 flop. I bet out at it, and am reraised all in by a stack of around 3k, and my stack is sitting at around 7.5k. I call, he has KQ and i take a hit.

At this period the 3rd round ends, i take the 25$ add on and move up to 7.5k at the end of the 3rd, and were down to around 10 players....i dont understand how that happens in a rebuy tourney but i guess some people didnt have the money to keep rebuying.

This is when i start to get really worried because after a while im down to just 2.5k after being blinded down and theres only 5 of us left, but i had been cold decked for a looooong time, til i finally pick up A10 UTG, i move all in and am called by K10 and KQ, i flop the Ace and it holds, and im back up to 7.5k, sorry i dont remember the average stack, you drink for free when your playing in the casino.

Then very next hand two Jacks come my way and i manage to double up against another K10, which seemed to be a very popular hand during this tourney.

After a While its down to the final 3 players and i had J10 of hearts and am first to act. I raise, 2 callers and the flop comes 3 beautiful hearts. On player immediately pushes, the other folds, i call and knock her out.

First hand of Heads up i pick up KK, he moves all in, i call and beat his AK to win the first live tourney i ever play in and pocket 750$, and went on to win 300 more in black jack....mmmmmm i love gambling.

first live tourney i ever played was a 5$ rebuy w/ 89 ppl i got 3rd which made me pretty happy havent played one after since dat casino is 1hr 30mins away so i rarely go there but its a good feeling i cashed in 450$ for 3rd place, i think first got like 880$
