Let's whoop on some other forums, shall we???
Hey guys,
I was approached by a couple of other poker forum webmasters who are interested in creating a "World-Wide Internet Poker Players League." Things are still in the early stages, but basically, they want to have tournaments on Poker Stars where members of various forums compete against each other. The league rules are still a work in process, but I thought it looked like a cool idea and could be a lot of fun, so I agreed that we would participate. The first "Exhibition Match" is this Sunday, April 10th, at 5 PM ET on . The tournament password is pokerman. Please come out at Represent TPF! Unfortunately, I won't be able to play in this, but I know you guys can take it down without me. Let's show them how it's done, shall we??? According to that link we have been excluded from the first exhibition match, clearly an attempt to dodge the better players.

They must have just changed it, notice where it says 3-team challenge and there are now 4 teams listed.

We were a late addition (today), but we are welcome to play.
I think we are one of the smaller forums playing, but oddly enough, Vegas has us as the odds on favorite to win!

I know.... I think it's going to be awesome.... I wish I could make it this Sunday, but I'm going to be in the woods camping, so I just dont' see it happening...

sounds like a real cool idea -- I have to check my work schedule, I may or may not be on for Sunday, but if Im around I'd definately be down to play...otherwise sometime in the future

I don't think this is possible. They were trying to set it up so you could change your Hometown, but the last I heard, Stars said no... It looks like a bunch of people have done that, but I wouldn't recommend it.
