Default FREEROLL INFO - Password - Read Me...

This was the original thread about the freeroll:

Then, all hell broke loose, so we modified things a bit:

Here's the deal:

1. If you are a new member who registered to this site TODAY.... You are not eligible to be in the freeroll. The idea behind this was to reward contributing members of the site, and if you've only been here for a few hours, obviously you are not a contributing member. Consider this a head start for the next one. Look around, start contributing regularly (quality over quantity), and you'll have no problem getting in the next event.

2. For anyone else, if you think you have qualified by contributing enough around here, feel free to PM me for the password. I will reply to those that I find worthy just before the tourney starts (between 9:15 and 9:30).

PLEASE, do not keep asking me over and over if you are in yet. All this is doing is cluttering up my PM Inbox and making it very difficult for me to weed through everything. And it's annoying and makes me not like you. Send me one PM sometime between now and 9:00, and I'll start replying with the password to those that are eligible after 9:15. I will not be replying to any more PMs about the freeroll between now and then. It's just gotten way too ugly already.

As a side note, do not ask anyone but me for the password, and for those of you who have gotten it from me already, do not give it out. I'm serious about this. We already have a small leak that I'm hoping to plug before this gets out of control, but there is only so much that can be done. This is a bannable offense, as far as I am concerned, because it's directly trying to sabotage this forum.

That is all. GL tonight everyone.

Sure. Of course, not everyone who doesn't post in that will necessarily be a "crasher," but I guess it will identify those who are legit.

of the 29 i see currently registered, i cant connect 13 to anything ive seen/read around here, and (un)fortunately i have photographic memory for numbers/names/faces.

i can tell, right of the bat, which 2 are the most obvious crashers. the two peeps with listed italian location. let me tell you a funny story...most of the freeroll chasers, which are active thruout the forums out there, regularly try to crash country-specific freerolls, which are very popular on stars lately. specifically, there are/have been large prize pool freerolls for italians, danes, swedes, norwegians, british, etc. so these chasers change their listed location on stars from one such event to another.

currently, on saturdays, one large italian event is very popular.

EDIT: TP, btw, as the owner/organizer of the pvt event, u can email and ask stars support to remove the crashers from the tourney. they have started enforcing pvt event rules lately...but only if the organizers/owners themselves ask.

And who did you used to be? And who are these friends of yours? And why didn't you just log in to your old account instead of making a new one?

I have to tell you, the little one liner post barrage you just went on isn't helping your chances either. This was supposed to be a freeroll to reward quality posters... not posters who haven't been on in so long that they don't remember their user ID/password or posters who thinkk flodding the board with one liner no quality posts will get them in.

Also, I would check for people who are from Danish countries since there is that danish players only freeroll at pokerstars going on, so some freeroll crashers may have that.

I wasn't jumping on your case. Just trying to make sense of the situation. AKA "calling your bluff."

You must be thinking of another forum, because we've never had anyone here by that name. Not even 1 post, let alone 330.

Why did you register a new name so completely different from your old one anyway?

In freeroll crasher news.......... it's a shame the person setting up the tourney (in this case, me), doesn't have to power to unregister certain people from it, or better yet, to sign everyone up manually.

Yes, we've already got a number of crashers. I find this very interesting, since I've only given out the password to "trusted" people so far. Or so I thought.

No, this is the place. And you've never been here before. Sorry, but nice try. I'll give you one point for creativity.

That's why I was asking who these "friends" of yours were. Maybe they could vouch for your story, but it doesn't look like it....

as of lately, yes u can. just email stars support and ask to remove the crashers. theyve recently started to enforce pvt event rules, but only the owner/operator can ask.

also, the 'extras' here may be the case of ppl registering under multiple accts. which of course is cheating too. again, ask stars before gametime and they should be able to help.

REALLY? Well then I'll give it a try. Anyone feel like making a list for me of the potential cashers? I've given the password to NO noobs yet, so anyone unrecognized names are probably not legit.

Thanks in advance.
