Default Brag: Zybomb...

Tonight sucked donkey balls. Coolers, lost races, bad timing, sub-optimal play (that's putting it gently) and then a couple more coolers just for fun... surprisingly, I don't think I was sucked out on too much.

Anyhoo, here are two of the few hands that kept me sane.... unconverted for no particular reason.

Seriously, ball busting aside - what do people think of how I played hand #2? I don't think I could have extracted any more money if I played it any differently (I was planning on check raising the flop, btw), and at the same time, I think this this line is good for pot control with a probably-good-would-like-to-show-this-down hand like this.

Hand #1: The one time I had a good hand (HU) and didnt repop you preflop I planned on doing it on the flop. NH

Hand #2: I play the flop and turn the same (although I might 4 bet preflop bc Im OOP and its a blind battle), on the river its hard to say. I should check behind any showdown hand, and this is the worst spot to bluff on the river since draws missed and itd be very odd to play any good hand in this fashion and pump the river, so I dont think you get any value out of me alot of the time in this spot...its tough but I think I may prefer just betting out again.

The only reason I played it like a complete retard ( that river bet would normally [correctly] get called by any pair in that spot ) is I was trying to think a level above and figure you would be thinking that theres no way Id bluff into a obvious call down board like this and thus you would give me a hand --- that didnt work (and Im sure the fact you had TP2K helped out alot! NH!

OH yea, PS

nh. I had pocket 3s there and wasn't quite sure how I wanted to play them. I was pretty sure you'd raise if I led at the turn (turnbs out you would have folded like a bitch)... I briefly considered check raising the turn, but decided to just let you have the hand, since I had been fairly aggressive recently.

I should have just tossed it preflop, but after not flopping a set in my past - I don't know, 20some chances (just a guess, but probably accurate) - I thought stacking you with 33 would be too much fun to pass up the opportunity.

I had KQ but was pretty sure I was beat there.

Sure I did.

I thought about raising it up, but was afraid shabi wouldn't let go of TT-QQ, so I decided to throw him a bone and fold the best hand (small pair).
