Just curious
When changing tables in a tournament whey is it OK to be moved into the Big Blind but not the button? I know this has been the practice forever, but there has to be a reason it's OK to get screwed by posting Big Blinds in back to back hands if you get oved from a seat where you just posted into a seat that has to post, but not acceptable to move into the button reguardless of what seat you came from. For that matter why can you move into the Big Blind, but not the small blind? Whats the difference?

Same as if you entered a ring game i guess. You cant enter on the small blind of button but you can enter on big blind. |

It won't let you into the small blind either if I'm not mistaken.
From experience, I have always been moved into the BB position but during a hand. I would have to watch another hand thru the SB position and then the button would skip over me and I'd be in LP right before the button.

your right Geoff... if your SB you will sit out the 1st hand then you will be the cutoff the next hand.

But if you move into what would have been the UTG seat you will have to ost your first hand at the table reguardless of what happened at the table you left.
