New PokerTracker Database
The only database I have is "My first pokertracker database."
Is there any reason to change / create a new one every so often ? What exactly is the point ?

Do you all pay for your PokerTracker?
Does anyone know where I can get a free version of it? |

If you follow TP's link, you can find a trial version on that page (a link near the bottom). It only allows you to store 1000 hands, but it's a good start to see what the program is like. Personally, and I'm sure most everyone here agrees, that it's worth the cost to buy the program. Especially if you combine it with something like PokerAce Hud. |

To further what N1kita said - PT, if used properly and to its fullest, will pay for itself MANY MANY times over.

You can get Poker Tracker "free" through Poker Source Online or Vegas Poker Pro if you complete one of their affiliate programs.

My trial version, ended a long time ago, so I'll be sure to check out those two sites. Thank you. |

Poker Tracker is an awesome program and worth every penny. The guy who wrote it did an amazing job, and supports it daily, releasing new versions and improvements all the time. He deserves to be compensated for his work.
As for getting it free from elsewhere for joining such and such a site through so and so's links, obviously I can do that type of thing too. I just think it seems silly, and always kick back cash to you guys when I can instead. If you'd rather I go buy you Poker Tracker, I can, but I figure most people would rather have the cash and then either buy it for themselves or have the option to spend their money elsewhere. |
