Default Tpf Ff...

This league's scoring is wacked. How many points do QBs get for passing yards? I can't believe the numbers people are putting up. Brett Favre scoring nearly 60 points? Culpepper having the worst game of his career (FIVE Picks!) and scoring 22??? Come on...

I guess I should have read through the scoring system before drafting my team.

Interceptions don't count so much if they also get touchdowns and make other long completions. This was good for Farve as he tends to take a bunch of long bombs when they are behind.

I don't know if you were following the scores after Sunday nights game. I was behind by 6-7 points with S. Moss and Witten left for MNF. At the half I thought I was toast (or that we might tie since I knew who I was matched up with)....But, .... TY Santana Moss....

LMAO.

I think TP is just pissed off because he didn't get 62 points from his QB this weekend .

This is ridiculous. You mean to tell me moving your team 20 yards can offset an interception??? Sure it can. That sounds about right.

In my real league, it's 50 passing yards for a QB to get a point (20 rushing). IF a QB has a 300 yard game (which is very easy to do in a losing effort, even), that's 30 points right there.

I have the following RBs available for trades:

Priest Holmes
Dominic Davis
Mike Anderson
Stephen Davis
Carnell Williams
Willie Parker

Make me an offer. I guess I'm looking for a QB...

I was wondering that myself, TP. You are completely correct. All the points should be with respect to a touchdown. Now the only way I see 10 yards per point is if you double the points for a touchdown. THats what I did in my other league. In fact, Daunte was negative last week and had like 4 points this week in that other league. Daunte is sucking, he shouldnt get 20 points. I want a refund!!!!

And wow I just went to trade you for cadillac or Davis and I realized that so far my draft picks arent working out. I mean Burleson, whats he worth with Daunte...and Daunte, whats he worth??? Its gonna be a long year for me. But Ill throw Daunte at you....worht a try.

Vick is an awesome QB, give him time. He'll rush for a 1,000 and throw for 3,000. Manning will pass for 4,000 but rush for -25.

Vick is awesome... but in a league where throwing for 300 yards is worth SIX TDs, he doesn't look that great. Most leagues reward QBs more for running than passing, which boosts Vick, but not here.

HIs recievers have to start catching stuff first. Did anyone see that drop by Michael Jenkins in Sundays thriller? That was like a 65 yd completion and it when right through his hands, granted he was horizontal but...come on thats what they are paid to do.

Dante makes me REALLY nervous without Moss... He looked HORRIBLE this week. But I'm still interested, as I certainly don't need all these RBs on my bench. I counter-offered with the same deal, minus the TEs you included.

If you are still interested, I'll trade Larry Johnson for Carnell Williams. I don't have a QB I'm interested in trading. I had proposed this trade to you in the league all last week but I guess you didn't see it. I canceled it on Saturday I believe. Anyways, let me know.

I must have missed it. I wish it would email when a trade has been proposed. I did see you mention it here and I did say I would do it.

Fungus wants Cadillac too, but he hasn't responded yet, so I'll make you this offer on the site too. First one to hit accept gets him.

That's odd, I receive an email when a trade is proposed. I accepted the trade but now it's pending for some reason. I think others can vote against the trade. We shall see what happens.

They were going to my spam folder. Should be good to go now.

Look like there is a 2 day waiting period in case others want to veto.

I hope you guys aren't seriously vetoing an obviously fair trade. The purpose of vetoing is to prevent collusion, not to cause it.

Yes. I assumed it was a rhetorical question. Obviously you aren't winning due to your ultra-close following of the NFL.

I have Brady as QB, which is always good for the throwing points, and TO as WR, but apart from that i know only a couple of them, the rest i did yahoo rankings for

You are just a lucky bastard. What's ironic is you are in a country where "football" is the most popular sport, right?

yeah football is the most popular, but i guess you guys called it soccer to be fucked up.

And for the record....."we" invented football (soccer) so we can call it what we want, after we invented this you came up with american football, and stole our name, so you had to call "soccer" what it is today, whereas the rest of the known world calles it FOOTBALL for a reason ( its played with a "ball"(spherical object) and it played with the "feet". not a bunch of dudes taking 5 hours to run about 1 mile.
