My family lives near there. I was there over thanksgiving but didn't play. Here's my post from another thread about it....
If you play, I would love to hear what you thought of the games (especially if you play the spread limit $1/$3). What limits do you play? BTW, they also have tourneys, but I am not sure of the schedule. EDIT: Overall they seemed to have a variety of games going limit and NL GL |

Yea judging from the website is seems like they mostly run satellites and shoot-outs to bigger events. I don't normally play limit, so I'm hoping there is a NL table there if I end up going. Most casinos have low-limit no-limit games now though, so I'm not worried about being limited to a spread game.

Dealer tip?
That's interesting. They are actually taking the dealer tip out of the pot themselves? Haven't heard of that before. Are you expected to tip the dealers on top of that, or is considered inlcuded in the rake in this case?

It is essentially $4 rake on any pot over $10. $3 to the house, $1 to the dealer. They just can't call it a rake so they made up a cover story. For the minimum $10 pot this is robbery. In a bigger pot it would be more reasonable.
The process apparently is they put a button in with your pot and you send it back with the "rake" and the tip on it. They did have NL games going (I think $5/$10 was the one I watched for a few minutes). But there were other tables I didn't look into. There was one guy with a $1700 stack at the $5/$10 NL (bit of a bully) which was a good show. Staff there are very nice though, should be a good time if you go. |
