Default Cubs make big trade
The Cubs just got Juan Pierre (CF) from the Marlins for Sergio Mitre (P), along with minor league pitchers Ricky Nolasco and Renyel Pinto.

Pittsburgh and Florida have been our two little feeder franchises the last few seasons (Ramirez, DLee, now Juan). Way to go GM Jim Hendry on another solid, offseason move.

I'm absolutely stoked about this trade. An outstanding defensive player who can lay down the bunt, steal a base, and swing the stick in the clutch. He's going to love Wrigley (as long as the retards quit the fucking booing everytime someone goes 0-4) and flourish on the Cubbies.

A healthy pitching staff next please.

cubs still suck... they wont make the playoffs next year.

White sox wont repeat, might not even make the playoffs. I can see the Indians easily winning that division while someone else gets the wild card.

This is crazy considering how much money I was going to spend to see the cubbies in the NLCS back in 03. The bidding on ebay got to be too damn high. By the way, I love the cubs.
