Default AC Harrah's WSOP Circut and ? Vegas ?

Going to AC for the Harrah's WSOP Circut Event (started this past Saturday ends this Sunday). Main Event is this Sunday. My friend is playing in Friday's 1k and the ME, I'll probably play a few $500 sattys (1 in 10 get seats to the ME good deal) and maybe Fridays $1k also depending on how cash games go. Great structure for both the main event (75 minute levels 25/50 blinds 20k chips) and the side events (25/50 blinds 6k chips 60 min blinds). The satty isn't as good but I'll give it a wing (25/25 blinds 30 minute levels $1500 chips)

If Im not still there by Sunday (not sure) , a dealer that I know just told me he has This Suite (you need to click on parlor suite) from Sunday until Wednesday at the Wynn free as part of a promo from someone he knows -- and there's only 3 of them going so theres an extra spot if I want, I can come along for only the price of airfare. Looks like a sick suite and a last second trip to vegas is always nice (wow I love not working...well more like not having commitments and being able to do whatever whenever) especially if its free.

Not sure if im gunna make this vegas trip or not (depends if I'll be in AC or not) but either way should be a fun week comin up. Full updates to follow

I anticipated going up during the week to play in some of the side events (did you know even the $300 buy in events got a WSOP Ring for 1st place) but my friend wound up not going --- so instead we are headed up there this morning. I plan on playing the $500 Super Satty into the ME (which is tomorrow) @ 4:00 today and possibly the $300 at 8 PM if I dont hit the $500. Adrian is buying directly in I believe (although he may take a shot at the satty and if not buy in, but regardless he is playing 100%) to the main event and I hope to be there with him.

If not I plan on headin down to the Borgata (unless there's actually good action at Harrahs bc of the Tournament , as usually theres little to none) to hit some some cash games.

Vegas is obviously a no go -- but I will be there (more so to party than gamble though) Jan 17- 20th with 8 friends celebrating a birthday

Updates on my Final Table appearance to follow

GL.

And question: Since you "left" the day job, how is your overall income doing? Have you been able to play more poker and make more than you would have by slaving at the restaurant, or are you falling in the hole? Just wondering...

On adrians labtop where the keys r weird so its kind of strange to type so im gunna be short

The super satty was a bust but they were running single table $500 sattys all night winner gets a seat. I outplayed the en tire table the first one but got so unlucky (4 handed 1 guy was all in 4 TIMES against me as a 70% 40% 60% and 33% fav and won each time, then i was all in vs him 50/50 and he won a 5th time knocvking me out... i also missed a 21 OUTER! jesus

Played a 2nd single table and made a $300 last longer bet with 4 other players. I took it down so i won $1200 bucks plus got a seat (the 1200 paid for the first two sattys and an extra hundred bucks so basically im in the ME for $400. LETS DO THIS!!!!!! Adrian is playing too -- so far only 137 ppl signed up -- a reasonable tourny.

No real celebs yet. saw robert williamson in passing....played with the winner of the new orleans circuit main event just the other month, raj something (wpt foxwoods winer who had A8 all in vs AA and hit 88x flop) and some guy freddy who has a 2003 tunica bracelet (i played with him in the wsop in 06 also he was at my table)

Day 2 huge chip stack update coming tomorrow, gettin some sleep gotta be up early tomorrow!!
I think they'll have updates on worldseriesofpoker.com

sorry about all spelling mistakes this keyboard is mad weird

This is a great sized event with a nice small buy in. If I was in the area, I'd hit this one up for sure.

Take it down!!! GL.

12:00 start time -- im ready Table 30 Seat 8

And I think you got the quote above backwards, it a nice small field (estimated to be 200-275 by start time) for a great sized by in ($5k). Its very winnable and my confidence is sky high right now.

day 2 update.... unfortunately I am out -- railed in the 2nd last level of Day 1. Adrian is still in going strong at 102k, 90ish players left avg stack 50kish.

Was at a table full of donkeys/stations which made blind stealing next to impossible n i was card dead/flop dead the entire tournament. My table literally had 6-7 way limp pots at the 100/200 A25 level and at the 200/400 A50 level had 2600 raised pots 4 ways. So many chips if I was able to get a hand, but I accumulated chips exclusively by stealing the entire tourny...sometimes it worked other times not, but i didnt win one showdown one winner the entire tournamet (only made it to showdown 1 times and was beat ). You can steal some but at some point you have to hit hands to get paid more, Ill be here as long as Adrian's in -- FT is tomorrow and I expect to see him there

Sorry man. It says a lot that you did so well considering how bad the cards and situations were. You'll have to avenge yourself in Vegas this June/July.

Update: After 18 hours of poker (12PM - 6:30 AM) they are down to final table. Adrian is still in and 3rd in chips. (We swapped 10% so Im financially interested also) I fully believe he is taking this down. ESPN here we come. Live podcasts will be available to on the web as well. Start time was pushed back from 2 to 4 bc of this super late finish. blinds r 20k/40k A5k. Avg stack is 542k. Crapshoot nyone?

awesome news Zy, good luck to your boy. Too bad you are not joining him at the FT, what at least you are making something off of it. What is the payout structure?

SWEET - Go Adrian!

I didn't meet him in Vegas, did I? I know the name, but I'm thinking it might just be from you talking about him here.

Man.... I'm only 2.5 hours away right now. I'm seriously tempted to hop in the car.

If de-coder sees this in time, its possible he could get TP Bot up and running for you to send text message updates to this thread for key updates (for those of us who want to "rail" but won't be listening to the podcast).

de-coder: If this can happen, please PM Zy the info.

I can get the bot running, but probably not until after 7pm - kinda sucks, but I'm at work and will be getting home late today. I'll send instructions along to Zy anyway...
