look at this
I got out of this hand when board paired, I called from a not great position with QJ which I know is a no-no but I like running hands like that in the 2/4 game on party because it can pay off big time. Look what this moron called with all the way to the river.

yea that guy made a terrible play and got lucky... but thats the problem with limit hold em, people can afford to stay around and catch cards like that because its impossible to bet them out.
I personally would of folded the flop, all you had was a 4 outer, and although pot odds were favorable (just barely) implied odds were not....once the board paired was even more reason to get out (and im sure you are glad u did especially after the board paired again on the river) I dont personally dislike a call with QJ either. I like playing hands like that, especially for no raise. |

Let's see.
1) You played a trash hand that should be folded 100% of the time in your position preflop. 2) You kept calling even when 2 overcards in the playing zone flopped. 3) You justify this by saying "it's 2/4 at Party." I've read enough of your posts to tag you as an ATM. I'm seriously considering moving my bankroll back to Party and adding you to my buddy list. Actually, my favorite part of your post is how you got away from the hand when the board paired - that was truly a classic. Last edited by Kurn; 03-14-05 at 04:05 PM. |
