Stolz!!!
So......... In this week's WSOP episodes (Week 2), our very own () "stolz" got some air time at Hellmuth's table. He was the one who lost with 99 to Hellmuth's quad Jacks ("Someone tell me what the second nut is"). He's also the guy who phil sucked out on with his AJ vs Steve's AQ. Stupid Phil and his stupid checking in the dark. Had the tables been turned, Phil would have gone nuts, but Steve took it like a man.... stood up and shook hands.
Well done. |

that hand is one I really wondered about (for Phils play). If he had not hit that miracle jack, was he planning a play? The checking in the dark is just soooooo opposite of his "play big hands and play them strong" philosophy. And it seems to me like it gets him stuck with the tough decisions he "says" he hates so much.

You saw how he got busted. He got all his money in with AQo.
Pretty weak play, if you ask me. He was HOPING he was a coinflip there. No way did Quzck Quzck have AJ or worse. He had AT LEAST a middle pocket pair. |
