PAD - the ultimate action flop
Watching the first episode of this week's cash game. 3rd hand shown of the night. 300/600/a100, min buy-in $150,000, Dwan & Antonius playing $250,000. Alan Meltzer has won the first 2 hands shown and has about $200,000.
Dwam posts a $1200 straddle. Folded to Meltzer on the button who misses the straddle and raises short. Kaplan points it out, so Meltzer makes it $2400 to go with T T. Dwan repops it to $8,000 with K Q, Meltzer pauses and 4 bets to $24,000, Dwan calls. Flop: Q J 9 Dwan checks, Meltzer looking a bit nervous bets $28,000, Dwan thinks for like 15 seconds and ships it. Viffer says "He emptied the clip into you." After a long nervous pause, Meltzer calls. Dwan says "once or twice?" meltzer says, "I usually only run it once." Turn: K River: 8 Nice start to the week.

2 episodes in and I'm enjoying this week. Interesting seeing Patrik as the nit at the table.
I'm also pretty impressed with Kaplan. he bluffs durrrrr in the first show (watching all that HSP tape has its advantages), then manipulates Meltzer into calling a river bet with KK into a TT77x board (Gabe had JT). Talked him right into it.
