Default Full Tilt Promos...

In last month's goals thread, I mentioned how I wanted to set up a Rake Back account at Full Tilt and start really getting some hands in. I wanted to play enough to earn 10k points and qualify for their Australia 7 Seat Freeroll.

Well, I'm happy to report success! I played enough in September to qualify for this Saturday's $20,000 Iron Man Gold freeroll ($3000 for first - 507 entries), and you'll notice my name is already on the list for the 10/21 Aussie Millions 7-Seat Freeroll (qualification for that ends on 10/14). Right now, there are a mere 20 of us entered - Chris Ferguson included - but I expect that number to increase significantly. When you click on Satellites for that tourney, it only shows two, but each one is giving away 9 seats. Add in however many more people will earn the 10k points, and it's going to be a much larger field. How much larger, I don't know... I'd love it if it stayed below 100 entries, but that's probably not gonna happen.

Anyway, that's that. Here's hoping I can score an Australia seat ($18,000 value)!

GG Full Tilt.

Speaking of Full Tilt promos, they have a ($500 max) going on right now.

Note that you only qualify if you don't currently have any bonuses pending. Good thing I finished clearing my $600 initial deposit bonus last night.

The offer is good through 10/20, so I think if you clear your initial bonus by then (for those who haven't yet), you can get this one too.

The link above explains in detail, but basically Full Tilt bonuses work like this: For every $1 raked in a given hand, every player dealt into the hand receives on point (partial dollars count). Points are worth 6 cents each towards your bonus, and bonuses are released in $20 increments (or 10% of your bonus - whichever is less).

So, if you are playing at a table with 5 players and $1 is raked (20 cents each), you are effectively getting 30% of your rake back... And this is on top of the 27% rakeback .

Again, I say GG Full Tilt. It's nice to see one poker site stepping up for U.S. players while so many others are cowering in the corner.

Damn after a week I still have 500 left to clear. I don't see that happening before the 20th. You should have gotten the rakeback started sooner.

Yes, I know. When I initially signed up to be an affiliate of theirs, most of the players here were looking for flat payouts for signing up places, so I went with their per signup plan. This worked for a while, but the big players want rakeback, of course. Their policy is to NOT let affiliates change their mind and switch to the other program, but after numerous emails, I was able to talk them into it, effective last month.

If and only if you signed up under me, shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do. I highly doubt they will let me switch you over, but maybe if I tell them to take the money back that I was paid, I could work something out. I'm going to email them right now and tell them that I know some players who aren't playing there much, if at all, because they aren't getting rake back, but if they were able to, they would start playing more. I'm sure this will only work for those of you who signed up through my links (if it works at all), but it's worth a shot. I'll get back to you guys (probably in the FT rakeback thread) if I can work something out.

Besides giving you a cut of the rake, do they pay you hourly for such vigorous site promotion?

If so, GG Full Tilt.

I am getting rakeback from you. I was just mad I didnt start sooner so I would have my intial bonus cleared to get in on this one. No big deal I can see them offering these more often now to get people over there.

As much as you guys used to go on and on about how great Party was (and then Bodog to a lesser extent), I don't see how you can complain about me promoting Full Tilt. It's by far my favorite site now.

And jillaj - oh yeah. Don't mind stupid me.

(And for the record, this didn't start as me promoting Full Tilt - I was just excited about the Aussie freeroll)

Well, maybe it takes a disinterested third party (me, shabi, JD, others?) to see that you've been out of control with the Full Tilt promotion.

27%... we got it.

Indeed, it used to be.

As for the thread title, I was referring to their promos (that I qualified for) - like the Iron Man and the Aussie 7 seat freeroll.

I really don't get what beef you guys have.

Yeah, that's for you guys - not for me. Here I thought you'd be excited about it like most people have been for all of the other deals I've been able to offer over the years.

With Party going away soon, I figured a lot of people would be shopping for a new site... The fact that Full Tilt has announced they will NOT be screwing U.S. players kinda made me figure people would want to get on board. But what do I know? Maybe you're gonna jump on Bugsy's Club instead (who also is welcoming U.S. players). GL with that.

1. You've replied to me and Shabi... will you be replying to JD?

2. "Yeah, that's for you guys - not for me." Enough w/ the affiliate who doesn't make money bit. If you didn't make the money, you wouldn't go out of your way to link every time. Or, do you like ?

3. The second half of your second paragraph confuses me. And I will not be playing at Bugsy's Club, FWIW.

Our point is, it seems like everything is a Full Tilt promo... like I said, we got it.

Whatever you say, champ. As for your bulleted list:

1. Didn't think it was necessary, but: "No, I am not the new official spokesman for Full Tilt."

2. You mean like all the links in the first post in this thread? Oh wait, that's right, there were none. As for the links in my second post in this thread: Why wouldn't I link to the terms of the reload? Isn't that standard around here? And yeah, I kinda do like linking to things. Did you see ? As for me making so much money, I wish. I know you've never believed me, but whatever. Not my problem that you can't do math.

I can tell it's that time of month for you (although yours seems to only come every few months - I can't quite put my finger on it), so I'm going to drop this. If you need the last word (and we both know that you do), go ahead and get it.

Wait a minute! I know why you're pissing on me (in what - 3 or 4 different threads?). You got all worked up about , didn't you? Note the link included for your clicking pleasure.

Aw, poor Lou. I was just teasing, man! You don't need to prove anything to everyone. You're still the Resident Asshole and always will be. At least where it matters - in all of our hearts.

I just hopped back on Full Tilt for the reload bonus, and let me say before I go on some horrible downswing that these cap games are AMAZING. The suckouts are happening some but it is insane what people will call cap bets with. I'm definitely feeling some strategic differences, but does anybody have any good insight on how to play them? Obviously speculative hands lose value since it's basically raise, CB, all-in.

Oh very nice. Just won a 3-way preflop capped hand with AA when UTG open-pushed AQo.
