NL, LIMIT, or OMAHA? or ALL 3 ?
I was wondering if you guys thinks its a good idea to focus on just one particualr poker game, or play a bunch?
Right now i play NL only, no other games at all, i do very well in NL, but wonder if i should play Limit and omaha and other such games too, i know how to play them and am actually pretty decent at both, but do u recommend concentrating on just one or many ? |

Well, never hurts to broaden your horizons. If you are struggling at one, move to another game.

There is nothing wrong with playing multiple poker games-- as long as you realize there is a fasly different strategy and approach to each. Take time to learn a little before you become serious

I have found that learning other games has helped my Hold'em game quite a bit. Each game, while unique, teaches you a different angle of your overall poker game.
I might suggest learning one at a time....I have been giving myself quite a headache lately, PL omaha, Omaha 8B, now 7 Stud 8B....where is that advil.... ....but it is fun |

I think it is good to have a routine of at least 2 games. I play a lot of NL and Omaha 8B. Sometimes I play Limit, but I usually have a migraine at the end of those sessions because I am not loose enough to play limit. At least two different regular games works for me.
