Rams comeback was Way better - 24-3 at half - comeback to win in OT by a FG, all with our 3rd string QB, too bad our playoff hopes are all but gone.

I really hoped the Packers could have pulled it out but they cudnt. They have lost by so little this season its unbelivable. The only consistent part of the packers is Favre. Oh well, maybe we can get them next year. Anyways the Packers / Eagles games wasnt that bad just alittle sloppy.

Yea.
We pretty much are done for this year. McMahon has not played bad, and Westbrook has played well the whole season. T.O. is likely headed to Dallas. What another headache for Bill Parcells. hahhaa

You are right... obviously, from a "Superbowl" or deep-playoff standpoint, the Eagles are toast this year. Not a big deal - some unforeseen problems throughout the season, but what can you do?
What I REALLY enjoy watching is how much heart they're playing with. Their QB is out, they are relying on a third-stringer, they lost arguably the best wide-out in the game, as well as other key injuries, and they still play with fire. Did anyone see the way Jeremiah (sp?) Trotter played this weekend? This is the guy I want to build my team around. He makes players want to win. The Eagles might be "done," but they're showing more class and heart than I've seen them play with all season.

You said it.
I was thrilled when they decided to go with McMahon instead of Detmer (who I've never liked) when McNabb got hurt. They were getting ready to pull him in the second half of the first game he started, and then he went nuts. He doesn't quite have the natural talent that McNabb (or most NFL QBs have), but he's REALLY got heart, and it shows. I'm glad they are still fun to watch. The Seahawks are probably going to kill them next Monday, but I'm still looking forward to the game. |

Eagles suck
They are glad to finally be rid of TO, what a donkey. McNabb is gone too but now the team will realize just how replaceable Mr Chunky soup is. Eagles will make a solid finish at 7-9 or 8-8 but make no mistake. They are not playoff bound!!!

Your making some stupid comments about To and McNabb. The organization might be gald to get rid of him but I don't think his teammates are. Many of them have said that they would like to see TO comeback to the team. They are 1-3 without him. Also you are saying that Donavon McNabb is replacble. Look at his resume so far. Three ncf championship appearances and superbowl apperance( I'm not here to argue the fact that he chokes in the playoffs). Not to mention that he has battled injuries through out the season and is in need of surgery. This years injured Donvon McNabb is replaceble but the McNabb we will see next year will not be.
