Pacific Poker Question.
Does anyone still play here? If so, would you happen to know (or recall) where I might be able to find the total raked hands?
edit: Well, I decided to call in for information and they seem to be more lost than I am. When I asked to know about my 'rake' and where to locate it on their site, they explained about having, what is known as a 'point system'. When asked if 'point & rake' was one in the same... they had no clue. They suggested I send them, yet another, email to their "commotions department." Worse customer service ever! edit2: THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT A """""RAKE""""" IS? Last edited by bunny; 03-21-06 at 04:27 PM. |

Do you know anything about it?
I've spoken to 3 different agents and they don't know what 'rake' is. They keep telling me I need to still wager $457 worth before I can cash out my bonus. |

Twice.
Just don't feel the need to use up extra space(post) for an extra line or two. But I'll try to remember not to edit, unless it's within a 5 minute timeframe. |

I agree and I thought I just requested that you (bunny) stop this yesterday. Once again, I missed 3/4 of your post because of this.
Yes, they have a point system. You need to earn x points to clear your bonus. And as I recall (from 3 years ago), there was a place to check your points. Maybe on the Cashier screen or something? They certainly aren't going to track your rake for you. If you need an exact number for some reason, import your HHs into Poker Tracker and let it do it for you. |

Then why are you asking them about rake?
Go wager $457 and clear your bonus. |

Already have a bonus but thankyou for at least trying to help.
Do you know where I can view the total amount of rake? |

I don't think bunny is lookiong for a deal (she's getting a bonus AND a kickback from me). She's just trying to find out how far she is from clearing her bonus.
I think. But I'm not sure, since she keeps asking them to track her rake, which I highly doubt ANY poker site would do for you. Thing about it: they definitely don't want you knowing how much money you are losing to the house. |

You told me I needed 250.
Talking Poker quote: "She's just trying to find out how far she is from clearing her bonus." YES! I'm asking them where I can view how much I have yet to clear. |

When you edit a post THREE AND A HALF HOURS after you make it, no one will ever see it. No one who has already read the thread anyway. I can't speak for everyone, of course, but I know I don't reread every word of every thread (or search for "Edited post" tags) every time I open one. I scroll to where I left off and start there.
If you want to edit a typo, that's fine. You should really only use the Edit button to add new information within a few minutes, at the very most - CERTAINLY not after someone has already replied. And MOST DEFINITELY don't edit a post replying to a post below it (like you did the other day) - Yuck! Talk about a messy thread. New posts aren't a "waste of space." They are how forums work. And trying to get around that for whatever reason doesn't keep things cleaner - it messes them up. |

Did they not tell you to wager $457 more in response to that question?
As for the 250 raked hands you need to play for ME to get paid for you - they aren't going to track that for you. You'll have to do it yourself. Make an estimate, or make a tick mark on a piece of paper 250 times if you really have to. I don't see why this is so difficult and involves numberous phone calls, emails, and forum posts. Just go play a few hundred hands and you'll be fine... |

Most other sites track it for you. Simplifies it for you. Someone posted about the Party bonus and not being able to track the rake and that was upsetting to him too. But don't worry yourself about it, I'll take care of this on my own. Thought maybe someone in here would be of help. I've played for a total of 5 hours in that sucky little boring...shit whole of a poker site. I asked them how much they started my wager, needed to clear at, and they had no clue. If it's still at $457; what did they start me with? $1000? I've been there all day trying to clear that damn bonus. End of posts. |

Party tracks raked hand count for you, since it's your raked hands played that is used to determine when you clear a bonus. Obviously, based on the conversations you've had with Pacific so far, this is not how you clear a bonus there.
I'm not "worried" - just trying to answer the question that you keep asking. Again, my recommendations are (in order): 1. Poker Tracker 2. Pen and Paper |

I just did a search here for other people who have tried clearing the bonus at Pacific (even though I'm still not "worried")... Looks like the consensus is that it's slow going at limits below $2/4. FYI.
I know I cleared it ($100) in something like 2 hours. That was playing 5/10 and up, though... |

I have no idea why she didn't just post this here herself, but bunny sent me this via PM (and no, I don't know what "2 days max" means - I guess their response time):
There. Glad that's finally settled. |
