Default six max limit autorate file (pokertracker)

Do any of you (esp tp or pshabi) have a file I could import for this. I figure the default that pokertracker has is for 10 handed. Thanks

I wish I did. I've actually never bothered to track one down (or to make my own). I'm sure there is one out there somewhere. Let's have pshabi find it and post it, shall we?

Shabi - get on this, will ya?

I actually went and found a few on this thread.

You have to press "quote" and then copy and paste into a text file and then import from the autorate option under utilities in pokertracker. (in case you didn't know) There's a link to a nl six max in the thread also if anyone's interested.

Ok... now I have three sets of rules, that at a glance, look significantly different from each other.

I guess I'll have to look through them in more detail and see what works best for me...

Why don't you copy/paste the three sets for us so we can see the difference?

Sir, yes sir!

I was busy doing nothing in the WCOOP when I grabbed these, so I literally only glanced at them, but ready or not, here they come...

Let's decide which set we like best, or possible some combination of all three. Then we can publish the official TPF 6 max Autorate Rules. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, fancy!

And it's funny that you play:

$1/2 NL
$50/5 SnGs
and
$20/2 MTTs

Do you know anything about EV and bankroll management?

It has to with Poker Tracker. If your not familiar with that, it doesn't mean anything.

But if you are, there is a feature where the program "rates" players based on their play. It uses little symbols to identify fish, maniacs, LAGs, etc. However, you need a set of "rules" for the program to go by when assigning symbols. That is what TP posted. A couple different sets of rules that you can copy/paste into the program to define the symbols. You can define your own or use one of these that other people have created.

Did anyone ever take a look at these and decide which looks best?

I'm going to have to do this myself, aren't I?

Fine. Jerks.

I was excited about it when I first read about it and posted, but like pshab said in the post her referenced, looking at the numbers on playerview or another hud is usually enough.

I like the second set.

Most TAGs I've experienced in 6-max are 28/12, so I'd prefer <30/>10 (2nd set) rather than <25/>15 (first set). The third set doesn't consider PFR and I don't think river aggression is an overly useful stat for classifying TAG/LAG/LP, etc.

I finally got around to looking at it.

I have to agree with SJAY's post above. The second set is the best.

I'd actually alter my TAG stats to be <30VPIP and >13% PFR. I don't see how you can make any ratings without taking PFR into account, so throw #3 out right away.
