Default New Party Poker Store

What do we all think here
They have some dynamite stuff
But the majority of players on PP would take years to get 15k in points. Which is the equiv of 70 bucks 6000 pts gets you a 30 dollar 2+2 book
Now I know what TP is going to say "uh you can't just give stuff away you should earn it" Which is fine........BUT points price is just too dam high for stuff. they have 3 pairs of sunglasses for like 60000 points.
This is fine but where's the 1000 point plastic junk glasses that just say Party poker on em that I want. Screw that armani rich stuff.

While you think i'm whining let's put it in perspective while in a Brick and Mortar room some rooms comp you a buck for each hour you play
My ave a week in a brick room would be 40 hours (AVERAGE) usually 4 hrs a day and 10 hrs a day on weekends now...... that's 40 bucks a week in comps

160 a month 1920 a year and 5760 for the same 3 years it would take me to earn 15000 points on party which is equiv to 90 bucks that's a diffrence of over 5000 dollars in comps Holy shit is party cheap or what
I'll take my free coffee and filet mingnon every week instead

hOLLA !!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you figure it takes 3 years to earn 15k points? I literally earned 5k in the first WEEK of February... so at that very reasonable pace (I played a good bit, but nowhere NEAR the full time comparison you are making), it would have taken me three WEEKS to get to 15k.... not 3 years.

Compare apples to apples.

Not everyone plays 5 10 10 20 20 40
Brick and mortar you still get a buck an hour
and your 2-4 gets a buck
that's apples to apples

Ok, so when you play 40 hours of B&M, you're playing 2/4 and getting $40 per hour in comps, right? So, online, how many points can you get playing 2/4 40 hours per week? Hopefully you are playing at least 2-3 tables at a time, which you can't do B&M, but even if you are only playing 1, I want to know how many points you earned and what they are worth.

Just for fun, let's pretend you can only earn $5 (which I think is ridiculously low) worth of points in 40 hours. So, you could have earned $35 more at the B&M casino, right?

What you are failing to take into consideration is:
1. The FAR fewer hands you will have played B&M which = FAR less money won. This stands to be in the hundreds of dollars (on average) per every 40 hours, even at 2/4.
2. The fact that you probably paid $200 more in rake over the course of that 40 hour span in the B&M room! That alone makes their comps worthless.
3. Shit... you probably would have had to spend $10 in gas just driving back and forth from the casino that week! Not to mention all the time you wasted in the car that you could have been playing had you just stayed home.

Never said you were wrong TP and ALL your points are true and valid but at Party the no limit games are giving points diffrently than the limit games...
I assume the limit games at higher level give more points this may have changed for the higher NL games I have not checked.

Is my logic wrong here I'm not sure ??

Say a NL game is giving 1 point for 20 raked hands if I have 500 bucks at the table and I go all in 10 times (Thats a VERY BIG IF) I have put over 5000 bucks into the pot to be raked (yes we know it's capped)
while a limit player would get maybe 2 to whatever amount of points at a 10 20 game 40 times 20 big bets is 800 and the 20 small bets is 200 for a total of 1000 bucks at risk.

I'm not whining I have not played online in a while I've been playing in a bunch of brick tournys getting ready for the 1000 buy in's at the WSOP this year. (And trust me if results mean anything I'm screwed this year ) Been getting chopped up like an onion

Doh here comes the boss back to work
