Well, technically it's not that the QJ didn't hold... it's that it didn't get there.

As for the bikinis, did I mention that topless sunbating is apparently common in Aruba?

Cant argue with getting your money in as the favourite. Well played TP! You are an inspiration to this whole forum, and we wish you best of luck in the future. For now, have a great vacation and try not to spend all that money in one place.

No way man.... They idn't even give us free loot... well, one tshirt and a card cap. Ohhhh, big deal. As great as this has all been, UB kinda dropped the ball with the small details.

QUICK update from today (I'm tired):

Spent some time at the beach and at the pool. P0ker H0 wanted to swap 5% with me in the $1000+60 that ran tonight, so I decided to play in that. Talked my friend into it too (and covered his buy in with cash from my pocket). H0 was out early, I finished 13th (final 10 cashed).... but my friend..... well, he was part of a four way chop at the end. $13kish. I swapped 10% with him, so I managed to come out ahead on the whole thing!

Tomorrow is the final table of the Main Event Tourney. Freddy Deeb, who took me out with nearly an identical stack, is still alive. So is Josh (SDouble), who I played with for hours and hours. It should be good tv.

Meanwhile, I'm going scuba diving tomorrow.

Oh... I forgot to mention: I played in a $120 satellite for the $1000 tourney earlier today. I didn't win it, of course, but I finished second and took down the $700 Last Longer pool... that ended up being a net of $480, so I really got into the tourney tonight for about half price...

Yeah, Josh finished second to...... Freedy Deeb (the guy who knocked me out). Josh has him all in with 33 vs. A4 and Freddy spiked a 4 on the river to all but eliminate Josh. Man, that was close.

Freddy is a genuinely nice guy, and a very gracious winner. When I congratulated him at the party tonight, I told him it actually made me feel better knowing I got busted by the guy who won the whole thing. He barely had me covered when he busted me, you know... just goes to show you how that one key coinflip can make all the difference. I saw him all in for his last 2000 chips on Day 1.

Anyway, this has been a great week. My only regret is never bumping into Courtney Friel. I'm definitely going to be playing more satellites for things like this in the future...

BTW... craps was good to me tonight (I has the best roll I have ever had... I'm guessing 40+ rolls over 25 minutes or so), and I am officially up on everything (not counting the 6k) for the week. Good stuff...

I can't complain. My buddy is actually over the $10k limit for how much cash you can bring in to the U.S. without having to fill out paperwork, so he's going to give me some in exchange for a UB transfer.

My wallet is busting at the seams.

Oh man, wallet busting at the seems sounds like one of the best problems to have. I have recently considered cashing out my 1k(now 700) roll and asking for it in 5's from the bank, just because I think bricks of money are the greastest things in the world. I would probably have to double my roll and ask for it in ones to get a brick, but whatever.

I'm home from Aruba now, so I suppose it's time to unstick this thread.

Thanks for following along everyone
