will do, i would really like the oppurtunity of a freeroll. But I understand your stress of quality posts, I've seen quit a bit of junk around here the past couple of days by people trying to get to the minumum number of posts.

Cool

After reading this I think of a portions of one of my favorite movies...Full Metal Jacket...if you've seen it then you can understand it's meaning and associate it to these last few posts.

Actually, we definitely WILL have more freerolls in the future.... we just won't have the post requirements that leads to useless posts all over the place. I like the invite only idea for people I think are worthy contributors...

So yes, stick around and start contributing QUALITY posts and you'll be in the next one for sure.

1) invite only always

2) pass by PM only and only to invitees, never in forum

3) TP, forget individual freerolls...how about a nice little forum league, maybe with buyin events too?

i was just going to bring that point up also. I think that would be a great idea. Maybe a 10 or 20 dollar buy in would be great. what do you guys think?

Yeah, that's a much better idea, don't even throw out a number just say 'I will invite any and all reasonable contributors'. Your money, your ball.

They're getting more forum members just because of that freeroll. Imagine how many people been doing a search on google to find that site.

Why don't we just move to have the Freeroll thread removed completely so the whores who happen by don't have anything to get all hot and bothered about? If I'm not mistaken you can restrict the freeroll tournies you do want to have and just invite those deserving by PM. Just a thought.

I've unstickied this thread. Maybe that will draw a little less attention to it

BTW - for anyone who believes they have qualified and deserve the password, please PM me tomorrow afternoon. If I feel that you deserve to be in the freeroll, I will reply with the password just before the tourney starts (5-10 minutes, most likely). I don't want to risk the password leaking out and getting a bunch of strangers in.

DO NOT SHARE THE PASSWORD WITH ANYONE.

Unfortunately I won't be able to play tomorrow. A friend flew into town today and I'm going to take him to the casino for the first time.

I'm going to unregister. Feel free to give my seat to Rookette.

Default Good Idea, Great forum

I just wanted to say that I am new to this forum and have browsed around and a bit and think this is great for people who like to <talk poker. And your thing with the free-rolls is a great idea, Great opportunity for the great people that keep this going, I do agree with one i read earlier that it isn't fair to those to have been around a great while to have people just register in hopes of being able to participate in the tours. Just thought to boast a sec, thanks for such a wonderful site and i look forward to chatting with you all and getting to know more about the great game of poker as I have just taken it up recently.
