I agree with Pshabi and Lou here, but I know where you are coming from TP.

But as far as a trailer park forum, no. We had the best showing at that tourney, and if these other guys wish to come and start posting over here, more power to them. The smart ones may realize that yes we did win and we have quality posters on this forum.

I personally signed up for the other 3 forums, and I'll assume that others will do the same. I got booted off protilt for no apparent reason, but I'm sure Ace10 and TPF would be glad to hear my insights.

And if some stranger wants to post in cyberspace and tell me I suck, fine, then I'll take it like a man and improve my game. I surely won't whine and cut people off, some of whom may help my game. I've said all along that we are doing this, posting on other sites and whatnot, to improve our game.

And anyway, this sort of trash talk and crap happens all the time, regardless. Every sitngo, multi and cash table I sit at, people tell me I suck. That just motivates me to take more of their money.

Hmm, sounds like Hutton is more interested in making ProTilt an insular circle-jerk than a thriving forum with a healthy infusion of new blood. So be it, as much as they whined about collusion et al., they can't take my $78 away from me.

Actually I would be up for a smallish HORSE tourney, I recently discovered the Razz table (yeah, there's usually only one running if any) at Full Tilt makes for some easy money. Doesn't add much to the bonus though, sadly.

Actually, I'm on about 6 out of 8 working hours, and TP, I do notice more traffic than usual on this forum today.

I know, I know, half of that traffic is me .

I tend to believe we should do our talking on the table and leave the shit talking to the kiddies. Yes people watching were shit talking the final table but dont rise to their silly comments.

I just wish people would stop making the forums look bad.

Agreed. Let's just put it all behind us, effective immediately, and let our actions speak for themselves on Sunday...

Okay, but, I don't think there is a Sunday. See AEQ's post 11:58 AM, this thread.

We're playing this Sunday. Same place, same time. It hasn't been announced yet, but it's going to happen.... minus the Full Tilt people, of course.

TPF is out as well.

I say who cares. If those from their forum wish to play, they know who and where we are. Ace10 had a good showing population wise so I don't see why we still can't fill a tourney with 30 people.

I have to say, if your going to be a retard and ban people for saying that there forum beat your forum then I really do not want to play against you. What a loooooooser! If he had just requested that the banter stop or setup a section on his site dedicated to the tourney where you could talk trash then I could respect that, but he just goes and bans people for saying perfectly legitimate stuff on his board. He is like the kid who brings the bat, and then when his team starts losing takes the bat home and cries to mommy.

Hey, I ain't no trailer trash if you're referring to me. I love that show and all, but I'm a suit by day and a preppy by night. I just enjoy the odd pint.

Well, Ace10 just said on the website that indeed, same time, same place, he is setting it up. Screw the other 2 forums. If they wish to play, they can join our forums.

we have pulled out of the league (THF) as well.
i spoke with mark from TP about it. It has nothing at all to do with what EF Hutton left the league for. Im sure he has his own reasons and i have mine.

Paul from ace10 wants all league members to send traffic to the main site etc and i didnt want to commit to it - thats the main reason of it. Good luck to the remaining leagues. I get on very well with Paul from Ace10, Mark from TP and Hutton from Protilt and i done see any reason for this changing regardless of my involvement with the league (if im not involved i could even represent TP in a future game)

Sundays game was fun (even if we didnt do that well) so id be happy to get a THF vs TP game some time in the future for fun - if possible id like to get a forum vs forum game arranged with ace10 and protilt as well. I just cant commit to the league at this time.

I used to drop by a lot here but havent had time in the last few months - obviously with running my own forum and other websites etc but ive been working full time as well and just didnt have the time. Ive not played much poker in the last few weeks either because ive been so busy.

kev

oh and thanks for busting my Benedict Arnold ass pshabi - lol

You are more than welcome to represent TPF this Sunday and any other time, Fonz. And yes, I'm sure we can set up a tourney with this forum vs. yours sometime.

I too wasn't a big fan of the whole required linking thing, but like I told you, if me putting a button in the menu of my site makes everyone happy, so be it. I don't see it as a long term committment though... If things don't go well, we'll pull out too. But for now, we have a title to defend

Well I can't even find it.
If you have to go searching for it I would say you wouldn't lose much traffic when they do find it.

Exactly. The link will send 1% as much traffic as promoting the competitions in the forum will, but if it makes everyone happy, then so be it.
