Ok, these guys are killing me. They tell me that they need 48 hours notice, so I give them 5+ days the first time. They get back to me 4 days later and tell me the "slot" I wanted isn't available. The propose another, 3 days outs. I accept, and then they write back 24 hours later and tell me it isn't available either.
Maybe they can't handle running more than one tourney at a time. Who knows? Here is the latest from them. Pick 3 times pshabi and I'll write them back. ----- Hi Mark Unfortunately we missed the deadline. I think it would be best if you proposed 3 optional date and time slots (avoiding Sundays and Tuesdays), at least 7 days in advance. This gives our booking team enough lead time to sort out with Prima, and then enough time for you to promote to your forum. Apologies for the hassle. Kind regards Brad ----- |

After 1000 emails back and forth with them offering me a new time, me accepting it, and then them telling me that time is no longer available, I got an email from them today telling me this is finally set up. Of course, I can't actually find the tourney on their site anywhere, but they claim we are all set to go on Wednesday, 12/21 at 10 PM ET.
As soon as someone find this, or they actually set it up, or whatever, I'll make a new thread with all the details. BTW pshabi - they made up their own info for the tourney, from the title down to the password, so don't blame me when it's not even close to what you requested. Quite frankly, I'll be glad when this freeroll is over. Or at least when I'm done dealing with it and leave it in pshabi's hands. More info soon, I hope. By "soon," I of course mean tomorrow or the next day, since they never reply to me emails within 24 hours, etc. |
