I'll be taking that lead, thank you very much.

And yes, bunny should have (And still should) pay the league entry fee. The same goes for Aeq.

Remember, there are 15 tourneys left and only your 10 best scores count. With the added money (and only needing to finish in the top 10 to get into the T.O.C.), it's never too late to join. 2 people joined today, in fact.

Default Deal or No Deal

You know my situation already and the reason I didn't join the league in the first place.

I would only be able to play till the end of this month. (4 tourneys at most)

Here's the deal I'm proposing. If I pay you $15 instead of the original league fee of $10, would I be able to receive my points for my 2 wins?

Please discuss this with all the league members before you make your decision. Thankyou.

No, sorry.... We can't just change the rules like that. I mean, how much should we charge Aeq to convert his points over from his win? And his win was an actual WIN - not just finishing in the points...

Feel free to set up a poll in a new thread if you want, but I know how I'm voting and it would take a damn near unanimous decision to change my mind... and I know that's not gonna happen.

You are still welcome to pay $10 and join the league like everyone else, with your points counting from this point forward.

What do you mean by "an ACTUAL win?" Wasn't mine a win too? I didn't get 1st, but I won 2nd & 3rd place.

As for joining the league, I'll pass. Won't be able to play more than 4 games at most. No poll needed. Sorry for even mentioning it.

No problem.

As for the win thing, I've never heard anyone - ever - say they won something when they finished second or worse. Especially in poker - 1 players wins a tournament.

For example: Joe Hachem won the 2005 WSOP. The other 560 players who cashed did not. I finished 41st in Aruba and 6th at a WSOP event last year. Both were nice cashes for me, but I would never, EVER claim that I won either of those tournaments... because I didn't!

Back to back - that's what I'm talking about! And MathBabe says I "never win these things." LIES!!!

BTW, meanness did pay before the tourney (not that it matters for tonight). I'm just getting to my emails now.

I won't be winning 4 in a row, as it is HIGHLY unlikely I'll be able to play this weekend... so you kids have fun, and I'll pick up where I left off next week, mmmmkay?

BTW, this is just so pretty I have to quote it right now, so it's frozen in time forever.

It's a damn shame Zybomb never plays in these things...

Thats all my fault, I let him come back from a 5 to 1 chip disadvantage...his confidence got under him and then he started his little run. Plus, I haven't played since

Two things:

1. *Checks scores, nods in approval*

2. Would one of you please break the THREE way tie we currently have for 9th place? Otherwise I'm gonna have to come up with tie-breaker rules, and I'm not sure if highest single tourney point total or most cashes is more fair. I'm leaning towards the former.

If MathBabe would just score 8 points, problem solved!
