Of course you still have to file an estimate, but he's not "screwed" if he has to wait 90 days to pay. He'll just owe some interest. Maybe we just have different threshholds for what constitutes "screwed."

I may call Neteller myself later today until I get to speak to a human being who tells me how they are going to get me the money they owe me.
If anyone feels like doing this first, by all means, do. Here is their "VIP" (aka LOL) Phone Number: 1-877-288-4545 Prepare to be on hold for a while. |

According to thread, it sounds like you should NOT be P2P transferring money to non-US people who in turn put money into gambling sites. They'll lock up your account.

This company is a joke. The VIP phone number points you to which points you to 1-888-258-5859 which of course points you to
You also have the option of going through a menu, which then points you to and hangs up on you. Call it and see for yourself. I especially like their "We don't have an estimated timeframe for resolution" crap. Yeah, well done. GG Neteller. At least the other sites/services gave people a chance to pull out as opposed to just freezing everything. |

Surely we can ask to cancel any withdrawal we have made to our account and cash it out in some other way? Anyone? I have a fair bit of money a the moment that is "nowhere"

I Made a sizeable withdrawal from neteller on Friday.
It was in my bank today (Wednesday). So for non-U.S. people that should make you feel better. As EEjit asked... can't you cancel your pending withdrawal and then deposit it to a poker site? Hope it all works out for you guys. Finally, there apparently is a new neteller type ewallet called youteller or something like that... they have no Western offices and this is how they expect to get around the "being arrested thing".... UK based? Saw a brief blurb on pocket fives, look it up if you have time... Cheers.

So basically there is no way to speak to a live customer service rep? That makes me feel real good about every seeing my money again.

If you are able to find an answer to this, please let us know.
Because other than emailing them (GL getting a non-generic response) or playing the phone lottery and hoping that you'll get through to someone at some point in time (all indications point to "No"), I don't see how you're going to find an answer to this question. |

1. There is no "Cancel" option, and they are impossible to get through to.
2. Even if there was a way to cancel the forever "Pending" withdraw, U.S. customers aren't allowed to:It remains to be seen exactly what happens to the money in the latter case.... does it go through? Does it come back? Or does it just freeze in nowhereland like the EFT withdraws? |

If you can find a way, let us know. I didn't try ALL of their menu options - like trying to get through to security or something - but I suspect even if I did, they would transfer me to the dead end that points you to the web page and then hangs up on you.

It really sounds as though the only thing that is freezing accounts is if the transferred money is then deposited to a gambling site. Sounds like it can be withdrawn.
And ditto on finding out about canceling "pending" transactions. |
