Default HU Cash Games...

I know JD has been playing these a lot lately and aixelsyd ta lol (yes, I cut and paste that) posted some interesting hands in .

What are people's general thoughts about the mid limit HU cash games? Especially those of you playing them a lot. What are your win rates like compared to 6 max, for example?

I'd really like to become a better HU player. I'm pretty solid HU in tourneys, but I have very little HU experience in cash games, and I'm thinking maybe I should give them a whirl...

In my limited experience, they seem to be filled with people that really don't know what they are doing HU. Because of that, I do think that a much higher winrate is possible at HU than anything else (although the variance can be cruel). Like 80% of the people I seem to face never fold to 3bets preflop (hugely exploitable) and/or have some big timing tells. For an example of a timing tell in action...

Perhaps some description of the timing tell would help in the HH. What (by this actions/timing) gave you ONLY those two hands there?

He bet the river almost instantly, which he never did when he had a big hand.

The players are generally terrible. At first I was like WOW this is a freakin gold mine, but it gets so old so fast. Most players on full tilt HU play extremely nitty and bad, and limp A TON which is so annoying. Also more than 80% of the time they buy in at 600nl for less than $300 and thats annoying too. I figured out they are profitable for sure, and HU it's easier to exploit edges so you can make good $ there without much thought. After awhile tho it's pretty much the boringest more frustrating thing ever cuz all they do is limp call all day and suck out, unless by miracle u get another decent aggro player which actually makes it fun.

They are still profitable but they are usually so annoying to me I figured they just tilt me too bad so I took all my $ off the site.
