there is a reason that Montana is the greatest of all time, not Elway, Marino or whomever.
All you stat freaks and fantasy players are missing the most important factor of a QB (and actively participating in sucking all the joy from team sports). Your QB needs to lead the time to victory, even when he is the only one that thinks they can do it. This is why Brady will inherit the G.O.A.T. mantle from Montana. |

Even thou Mannings stats are better, I would still put my money on Brady. I mean he lost a lot of recievers and he is still doing really good.

He's going to have to win 2 more to take that. You're jumping the gun a little. In the same category, sure, but he's still got plenty of work to do.

Let's see,
Brady vs. Denver defense - Brady got destroyed Manning vs. Denver defense - picked apart the Denver defense Brady is very good, but he is no where close to Manning's ability. You put any other QB on Indy's team and that team is below .500. |

HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Best receiving corps in the league. Put Brady, Palmer, McNabb, etc. etc.etc, on Indy, and they are still 7-0. Also, how about the Indy line holding on every play and not a single call against it.

Okay, Geoff. That's more "Lol" than Boobie's under .500 comment.

You're probably right, I just hate Indy.
Actually, I'm one of the people that think technically there could be a holding call on the line every snap.

I ain't claiming he is there yet, I am just saying when it is all done he will be. Manning is more talented, IMO, but he lacks that intangible.
And Brady is doing it with a cheap as shit ownership. At least Montana had some mob money going into the team. |

I tip my hat to manning after last night's game, but Brady still has the rings, two of them earned with the worst WR's and RB's in his DIVISION. Pretty much give Brady the WRs from 3/4 of the teams in the league and the Pats are locks.
Belichick said it best postgame: "I coached terrible, we played terrible." Can't win 'em all.

I don't know, Montana had much better options in his heyday than Brady. Montana's teams always had salary cap issues (AKA over the cap), and the Patriots have always been dramatically under. Also, the league is larger now than 15-20 years ago when Montana was winning rings.
I think Brady will go down as best ever, unless Manning finds a way to pocket 3 or 4 to match Brady.
