Default CFB 2 More Home Dogs this weekend ( 3-0 last week)

I had 7 picks (unusually high for me) last weekend including 3 home dogs, 2 home pickems, 1 home favorite and 1 away favorite. I went 5-2 overall, however All three of the home dogs which I bet on (Maryland, Virginia Tech, Indiana) won the game outright, VT and Indiana by BLOW OUTS.

I have two more this week, neither of which I like as much as last weeks picks (Maryland and V Tech was a double Unit play, and thinking back, not even being results oriented Indiana should have been also but wasnt), but I think are solid bets worth a unit each

Boston College -4.5 at Wake Forest. PICK: Wake Forest

I think getting points at home is a good situation for Wake in this game. Wake's one stumble this year one their 7-1 season was a narrow loss to a tough Clemson team (though this was at home). Outside of that, their competition has not been great by any means, and most of their wins have come by close margins... however a key win came AT NC State... the same Wolfpack that defeated BC earlier this season. BC did give Clemson their first loss of the season when they beat them at home by 1 point early in the season, but with the exception of V Tech (and Buffalo and Maine who may as well be D II football programs) the rest of their wins have all come by 1 score or less. We'll see what Wakes made of here, and they are at home to find out

LSU -3.5 at Tennessee. PICK: Tennessee

Again, Im not too thrilled with LSU this season. Like I said when I picked Florida against them earlier this season, LSU blows out poor teams, yet when faced with a real challenge, their offense simply does not produce points (3 points in their loss to Auburn and 10 points in their loss to Florida). With the exception of those two losses, the most notable team on their record is Kentucky, with most of their wins coming in out of division games vs weaker smaller conferences. Tennessee's only loss was a 1 point loss to a very tough Florida Gator team. They have big wins over Top 25 Georgia and California, and wins against a decent Alabama and South Carolina team as well. At home, getting a FG and hook I'll take it. I except Tennessee to win outright

Note: Tennessee's QB was hurt last week, but he is scheduled to play... should this change, it certainly will alter my bet

One Road Dog here

West Virginia +1.5 at Louisville. PICK: West Virginia

WVU has blown teams out this year plain and simple. Sure Lousville crushed Kentucky and destroy Temple (ooooo), but they also had a fairly close game with a mediocre Cinncinati Bearcat team at home. Their only notable thus far is Miami, who would not be nearly as notable, if not for their name and history. WVU's has won all their games, the smallest margin of which was by 17 points. Granted they are fairly untested, with the exception of playing a tough Maryland team earlier on in the season, but Louisville' schedule doesn't speak much either. WVU wins this outright. The point likely isnt going to matter, but I'll take it anyway.

your better off betting the WV Moneyline than doing +1.5 if you dont think the pts wont matter because you will win more money that way...

I will let you know what Im thinking about this week when I get a chance to see the games.

In general, MoneyLine bets aren't available if the spread is less than 2 or greater than 10. Maybe it's 1.5-10.5 though and Im wrong? I know as of now no ML bet is available (on my site at least)

MY WVU pick got hit .. (road team!)

As for my two home dogs, Wake covered easier than I expected and Tennessee won me a bet, even though when I originally posted this they were +3.5 and I would have lost... when I place the bet this morinng they had moved up to +5 and thus gave me the W
