Default I played this tonight.....

For the hell of it:

NCAA:
Conn +23.5 -110

NHL:
Fla -1.5 +185

St. Louis +125

Dallas -1.5 +135

Anaheim -1.5 +185

Put all this in as a 5 part three team round robin type parlay.

$50 to win as much as $665.35 but as few as three wins gets me a profit.

GL me.

I bet on Conn with you.

I was gonna do the parlay too (just the hockey), but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Round Robin with 2's? With 3's? Single parlay? I have no idea what that all means.

I see you've been replying to this thread for quite some time, Penguin. I hope you finish typing soon, or I won't be able to get in on this (or I'll have to guess what to do).

Tick tock!

Well, time ran out, so I just went with 3 teams and did the "with 2's, 3's" thing. If money shows up in my account, I'll assume I won.

The St. Louis line went from +125 to +120 and then to +115 while I was waiting. That kinda sucks.

Well, it's not something I recommend, it's mostly for fun. Works like this:

You pick three or more teams for your "Round Robin" parlay, then you decide how many teams you want in each parlay.

In the above example with 5 parts to the wager you could go with
2 teamers
2 and 3 teamers
2,3 and 4 teamers
3 teamers
3 and 4 teamers
you can also add the 5 teamer to any of the wagers

What all that means is you pick how many teams you want in each wager, in my bet I took three teams so the software gives me every possible combination of 3-team parlays among my 5 teams, which is 10 different combinations.

Then you decide how much you want to wager, $50, and the software divides that money up equally among all the possible combinations, in this case $5 each.

If 2 or less teams win I lose $50

If 3 teams win I win 1 parlay and get paid according (about breaking even)

If 4 teams win I win 4 parlays and get paid on each of them for a decent payout.

If all 5 teams win I get paid on the whole bet, which is less than what a straight 5-teamer would pay. Basically I have insurance against going 4-1, which in a straight 5-teamer would be a total loss.

If you took 2 and 3 teamers you would have all the possible two team combinations as well as the 10 three team combinations, as soon as two teams win you get paid on at least one 2-teamer.

Basically it's just to toy around and bet a bunch of games for a cheap price with the possibility of a nice score, but also the possibility of going 3-2 and losing money.

Sorry the reply took so long, the dog needed to go out.

Yes Pshabi, parlays are sucker bets. This is just for entertainment tonight since I am stuck home with nothing really to do.

So you have:

St. Louis +115

Dallas -1.5 +135

Anaheim -1.5 +185

With 2's and 3's, that means you have 4 different bets all for an equal base amount. Your gonna need two wins to do a little better than even depending on which two win.

Default Squashing all rumors of a comeback

0-5

Is that even possible?

Lets recap, three losses by a half goal, on loss after having the lead with 26 seconds to play in the game.

Another loss because Uconn refused to tackel anybody in the second half.

I'd say the bad luck streak is pretty much intact.

Or......................... what if we were to stake him and let him keep making picks. He bets $5 per game and we fade him for 10x that much? Sure, it would be like paying an extra 10% juice, but to guarantee winners like that? Hey, that's not a bad idea!

I've tried that, you can't beat bad mojo no matter what.

I'm gonna go out and kill a chicken and sprinkle it's blood over my door, I'll let you know how that turns out.
