PAHud Layouts & Color Coding
I've been tooling around with this stuff myself recently, but why reinvent the wheel? Surely someone out there has come up wit ha good PAHud layout, color coding, etc, right?
What do you guys use? Anyone have something I can import? I'm specifically looking for Full Tilt 6 max NL. |

I ended up making my own. The only place I looked was the PAHUD forums and I didn't like any of those necessarily. Most of them had too much information that I am not ready to use yet...I have VPIP/PFR/AggFreq(still getting used to this)/folds to CB/Went to showdown...and I add the net$ won for myself. I have added color codes by they are by no means correct and I am still waiting for more exposure to differently numbered players.

Here's a pic of the one I use. On the top/left is VPIP and preflop raise %. Top middle is went to showdown and continuation bet %. Top right is # of hands and folds to cbet. On the left (and below the names on the leftmost and rightmost) is attempt to steal % and folded BB to steal. On the right is aggression frequency by each street. EDIT: for downloading goodness of my layout. Last edited by Boobie Lover; 10-13-06 at 12:03 AM. |

shit, i should probably do all that.
Do u really rely on it That much tho? Don't the stupid stats sometimes lead to u making an incorrect play that u wouldnt have made if the stats werent there? Do you think it adds at least 1bb/100?

I think I play better and get better reads on people without all the stats in the way if I'm playing 4 tables or less, but if I'm playing more than that I definately need to rely on the stats to make playing somewhat reasonable.

Interesting. Did you come up with this on your own, or did my first video inspire your field choices? The reason I ask is because these are the exact same fields that I use.
I've color coded everything but Folds to CB, since I'm not sure how I'd even want to identify that. I think my color ranges for the other fields are reasonable, but probably not perfect. Good call on adding your own New $ Won (assuming it's per table) - I'm going to add that now as well. |

That's a nice layout... but I think it's a little bit more info that I want/need right now.

I do look at the numbers pretty regularly. Do you not use PAHud AT ALL? Or do you just not use more than a couple of stats? |

that is similar to the FT layout.
And while we're at it, Also, I keep VPIP and preflop raise % of myself at each table. I used to have the $won per session thing like fungus, but I found that I was focusing too much on that. |

Now wait just a god damn minute!!! Are you PercentileDoom???
Funny how I see my name in that screenshot. At least I seem to have been winning. Can't tell which player is me, but I'd like to know. |

Yeah, I was the donk that couldn't get you to fold AJ preflop.
The top player was you, although it was just by coincidence that I opened a table that you were at. |

I just reviewed some PT numbers.... So...... that was YOU who got all worked up when I called your reraise with AJ (and then stacked you when you bluffed off all your chips with a 9 high flush draw on a paired board).
I had no idea. |

Ha! So you really hate how I played that hand, eh? We should post it and blank out the names. See what people think.
It was a marginal play by me, at best, but I didn't like how you played it at all. |

Well, I would think with how tight I was playing that it would be ridiculously dumb to call with AJ there, but you did luckbox into a J on the turn otherwise you would have folded.
(And I don't really have any problem with the way I played the hand since AQ-KK was a big part of your range there and I thought I could get you to fold.) |

Reviewing this some more - and looking at my numbers specifically - I think I may need to add CB% - That seems like it could be useful, especially against guys like me. 95%??? Whoa.

Fair enough... although JJ could certainly have been in my range as well. But yes, other than JJ and AJ, I would have had to fold to your turn bet... and you still had outs when I didn't.
Did you think I knew who you were, or did you think I thought you were just a random player? I should thank you, btw. That hand got me unstuck last night. |

I use absolutely Nothing.
I don't even have PT on my comp. right now (I do plan on getting PT tho. - but i only use it to keep track up $ and winrates.)

Here is the layout I use, in case anyone is interested. I took this screen shot last night after Boobie joined me . I had actually swapped out table images with the one Blibbity posted in , but hadn't restarted yet, so the FT logo is still there.
My numbers are in the top left corner and include (after reading fungus' post in this thread) my winnings for the table. Everyone else's are exactly the same, except for that field. The left column shows: VPIP PFR Folded to CB The middle column shows: Aggression Freq (PAHud number) Went to SD And the right column shows: # of Hands PT Autorate Icon (I use my own rules) Boobie has a few other numbers I may add in the future, but I think this is a great start. As you can see in this example by glancing around the table, it's VERY easy to see who the fish is... As Boobie stated in the other thread, he is a special boy, to say the least. 66% VPIP, 18% PFR, 37% Aggress, etc - Wow. No wonder he's got the money bag icon. livb is a solid player, but not overly aggressive. The other three players at the table were all good with sort of similar numbers, but as you can see, Boobie was the most aggressive - definitely the best of my opponents, based purely on looking at everyone's stats. The one stat that is a little bit deceptive here is 155's showdown number of 18.7. That's a reasonable number.... The thing is, he was NOT capable of folding to a flop or turn bet with Ace high, but he would fold a LOT on the river. So, I took that into consideration and played accordingly. My numbers look pretty good to me, but as you can see, I hadn't been going to many showdowns at this particular table. I think that's mostly because people (155 go) were folding to my river bets a lot, so I simply wasn't getting to the showdown very often. Edit: Anyone who wants to be cool and use the exact same layout I use can do so by importing into their PAHud. I have been changing it recently (including the color coding), and probably will continue to do so, but this is a pretty good start. Last edited by Talking Poker; 10-13-06 at 12:41 PM. |
