Neteller
Hey,
I recently moved to a state not in dark ages that allows neteller.. So I am about to set up an account but have a question. If I use the same email for this acct. that I have used in the past for firepay, will poker sites realize that? Or is it simply a new type of account and it doesnt matter? For instance if my *wife* wants to sign up for 1 or 2 poker sites that I have played at, do you think that will work, as I will have an entirely different deposit method etc. I have several email addys. I could use, but have one that I basically use for poker, so it would be easier to just use this. Whataya think? Any suggestions for those of you who referred your garden gnomes to poker sites??? Thanks |

I would air on the side of caution here. You don't want to lose your accounts at Party...I mean, unnamed sites because they suspect your *wife* is actually a gnome

Meaning........
You wouldnt sign up for any sites *again*, or just use as much different info as possible?? BTW. I have a completely new computer, online provider, address, and soon to be deposit method. This may help me I think. No big deal, I am not looking to get second accounts at all the sites, and I dont really play that much at big bad PP anyway. The one site I was really thinking of, I haven't played a hand there in about a year and a half or more. |

Party is the best site to gnome IMO. You can still jump on a 5X, along with Empire (you'd have to search for a bonus code).
Just use different info in terms of email addy and you should be fine. Crypto and Prima won't let 2 accounts be from same houseold so beware.

Maybe I'm not understanding your question here, but you are asking what email address to use for you Neteller account, right? If so, I don't think it matters, because when you use Neteller to deposit to a site, it's based on your NT number, and not an email address. When you are registering with the site is when you'd want to use a new email address.

Keep in mind some sites (such as Paradise) require your NT email to match that on the site. This isn't exactly hard, but it is annoying to be switching all the time.

FWIW, Nikki & I have both have Neteller accounts and both have accounts on the major sites. We've made support at all the sites aware that we are husband and wife. Her Neteller is under her email, mine is under mine. We've had NO problems.
The only thing you WON'T be able to do is tie both Neteller accounts into the same bank account. But that's what the PokerStars Transfer Funds option is for! |

Thanks,
I think I will use a diff. email addy just in case. TP, do you have an affiliate link for neteller? Do they offer you anything? I thought I read that somewhere at one time. If you do post it and I will use it. |

The important thing to remember is that some sites will not allow transfers if the neteller email addy doesn't match the site email addy. (as was mentioned above somewhere)

I don't think they have an affiliate thing, but thanks for asking.
I just checked - they have a Refer a Friend thing for a drawing, no biggie. If they ask you for the email addy of the person who referred you, just use your own other account. |

Trying to do this now. Pain in the ass at first; had to call to verify this, that, and the other thing.
Anyway, I am not sure if most of you use INSTACASH, or EFT. It says EFT is free, doesnt say about INSTACASH, so I am thinking there is a fee. It also says that it takes 4-5 business days if you use EFT. That seems a bit odd. What do most of you use, and why? Thanks |

Don't use instacash through Neteller. If you just want to deposit from your bank account to an online poker room, all the major sites will pay the instacash fees if you deposit through them instead of through neteller.

Deposits? I've never had any kind of delay depositing from Netteller. Withdrawing is another story, though usually not too bad.
