Borgata Poker Open...
I've decided to fly up to AC for the in September. Here is the schedule of events:
I'm going to get there the night of Wednesday the 13th. The plan is to play in a Super Satellite or two on Thursday and try to win a seat for the $10k Main Event. If I do, great - it runs Friday through Tuesday. If I don't win a seat, I'm going to play in the $1000 tourney on Saturday and the $750 on Sunday. So.............. anyone in the area feel like joining me? Lou/Penguin? - Are either of you available to meet up that weekend? Zy - feel like making another poker road trip??? Anyone else? |

I will likely make the trip. I am PROBABLY going to to go up this weekend and play in the Super Satty package deal that Quint told us about a while ago. IF I win that I obviously will be there, but even otherwise I'll probably come down for all or part of that weekend

Sweet! I have a couple of friends who are coming for part of the time I will be there, so I'm not sure yet, but if you are there on an off night (like Friday night is shaping up to be), you are welcome to crash in my room if you want.

I am on Vacation starting the 17th and a roadie to AC (About 6 hours for me) is ALWAYS possible.
I'll let you know, keep in mind I don't play the stakes you guys do so you would have to wander across to the low limit side of things now and again. Edit to add= Any satellites on-line anywhere? A quick scan at Stars showed nothing.

i take it minumum age is 21 correct? are there any major tournament events in the united states for those of us who are ....20?
well you guys will see me at the borgota next tear..i will be 21 and be able to forfeit a 750 dollar buy in or so...the thousands of dollars in the wsop is not feasable for me. i take it these are two day events... Last edited by jaeh00d; 08-23-06 at 12:41 PM. |
