cant win when i am way ahead, cant win a coinflip... i'm really strung out and bothered. whatever, i cant keep losing with the best hand everytime, but come on thats a lot. that third one killed me. It bothers me because i played some good poker, made some pretty good laydowns throughout, made some nice bluffs when i sensed my opponents weakness for it to all come down to this, wow

Man that really sucks. The only thing i noticed is that you were all-in preflop every hand. I seem to lose every time i do that no matter what hand i got. Pretty much nothing you can do there, hopefully things turn around for you.

No i wasnt all in every hand of the tournament there... The first one was a re raise to a shorter stack... and the last one was an all in after i was crippled with the runner runner clubs... Those hands were over the duration of the tournament itself

But i just dont know what to do when i have nights like this...

Usually a good thing to do is not play for the rest of the night and try to get them tomorrow.

yea honestly i think i have to take a week off or so. Its beent this way for the past 12 days... lol yea i have it marked on the calender. I literally have went through 33% of my bankroll in these past 12 days. I even move down limits to trim the losses and heal my wounds and it still happens. Cash games, Sng's, Mtt's you name it they are killing me. But, i am not the only one, this happens to every somewhat serious poker player at least once in there playing careers. You just gotta wait it out and continue to play great poker. The bad beats cant continue to defy the odds this much longer.

best of luck to everyone

really hit the nail on the head here.
just never go all in pre flop and you'll be fine.

Well there is times when you have to go all-in preflop but what im trying to say is every hand here he was all-in preflop. I just seem to have terrible luck all in preflop in tourenys so i try to keep the pots small.

Uh.... I don't really get it.

Hand 1 you lost a 2 live card card, that happens more than 1 out of every 3 times

Hand 2 you actually made money on and your opponent had no choice

Hand 3 sucks obviously

Hand 4 is just a coinflip to a committed opponent

Uh... you can't honestly be serious right? You seem to lose every hand if you go all in preflop so you try and keep the pots smaller? Hopefully you already know this is senseless...

if you look closely only two of the four hands were all in preflop... The KK in very very rare instances do i lay this down pre-flop. I have no problem pushing all of my chips with this hand 90% of the time. these are those instances..

1. you have this unbelievable read on your opponent and you know he would not reraise you or anyone else there unless he had AA. remember although any hand can win in holdem there are very few hands that will actually call your all in to your KK. and all but one of them your at least a 2:1 favorite, a lot of times better than that. ( we are talking heads up hands here ) And that only one is aces, but you only run in to aces when you have kings about 3 - 4 % of the time anyways so i dont fold it much and have no problem pushing in with it. If i push with KK and run into AA, its just my time to go.

2. There is so much action ahead of you, i'm talking two and three players ahead of you all in pre-flop, although you might very well have the best combination hand preflop one of those random hands is bound to beat you.

3. you are very close to the money, or very close to the next money bracket and it is a big jump in the money and you dont mind waiting a few more hands. I have only done that twice with KK in over 18 months of play.

The 88 all in was after i was crippled by the KK vs KQ runner runner flush hand. If i'm correct i think i was down to 590 in chips and blinds were 100/200... i had less than 3XBB i'm pushing with 88 there 80% of the time, you cant wait much longer for anymore hands.

understand what i mean?

this sort of stuff has been going on for the past couple of weeks. I know the odds of poker and i know it is bound to happen. But, all of this within a few minutes can be a little frustrating to handle. On hands one, two, and four i do not fault the opponents play but just hate to be on the losing end of it all three times. I know shit will eventually turn around for the better.
