being a cheap bastard as usual, i had opened 2 accounts on pp, to get that free money thats all the rage now. so now i'm just waiting for pp to ban me forever. just thought i'd share.

What measures do they have to prevent people from doing so? Couldn't somoene just say my 'wife' has an account too.

Along with these lines, I had a few friends sign up to get the $50+25 bonuses and played on their accounts at my computer and they freezed my friends account until he sent them a scanned drivers liscense because they told him the thought I was doing excatly what I was. So anyway, be careful, the rules and regualtions say they can freeze the account for a bunch of reasons.

Yeah dude. Worse than banning is the fact that they are going to seize your money. Legally.

They won't ban you or seize your money. If you used different email addresses when signing up, odds are they'll never know. That's the only piece of data that you input when signing up that they check 100% of the time and cross-reference with their existing database.

Worst case scenario is they'll freeze your account and make you call Manoosh in India, who will tell you that you have two accounts and that you are only allowed one. You have to close one account but they let you choose which one. Close the one with no funds in it.

yes they will just ask you which account you want to close and then you close one and the other will have all your funds in it.

I can confirm this from first hand experience, but should add this is the case if you have duplicate account on different skins -- they made me close my Empire Account, which is why I'm always going on about my Empire promo envy.
