Default WSOP ME player Bryan Micon

An online pro/semi pro (Im not sure) named Bryan Micon is still in the WSOP ME with 70 or so players left. He's also cashed in 3 other events this year, final tabling one. Apparently his antics have been hilarious throughout the tournament, including giving his opponent a Harrah's pamphlet on the dangers of gambling while he (the opponent)was pondering a call and then waving a pen which flashed "donkey" in bright red lettering in front of his face the entire time. He's also coined the term 'donkstrikery' (sucking out)

Beside that, what stands out about this player, is that when writing my ebook, I was gathering information on systems already out there and his was one I saw advertised. He posted a lot of his Stars and PartyPoker big tourny cashes on his website as proof and offered a sample 10 minute audio clip of his work. His price of 127 bucks for his 'audio' system seems absolutely ridiculous, but given his success this year (and apparent success online), Im really interested if there's anything in this system that I don't already know. No Im not going to pay 127 bucks to find out, but I'll say my curiousity is peaked

He is not neverwin. Dustin Woolf is neverwin. This guy is just one of the people that runs neverwinpoker.com.

Hes not actually neverwin, he just runs his site...

but Micon and Woolfe both think their shit dont stink.

I dont really have much to elaborate, Ive played with him in a few rebuy tournies and had him at my table. he is a complete dick to everyone at the table except his buddies from his site.

Thats just my experience with playing with him and obviously he is up to the same shit at the main event. It should definately make for good television Im sure. I know him and Jamie Gold both got into it a few times before and seeing that they are both in, could be interesting.

If you're looking for a premier online player still left, look to rizen (Eric Lynch). The man is a beast. I think he took 3rd in one of the prelim events, and a few weeks before that he took down the Stars Sunday $1M. He's a guest pro on pokerxfactor and he's made a video of his Sunday win. I don't think he finished the video yet but it's good stuff.

Also, he's not a dick.

I just looked at Micon's system (he has a link to it in his signature at NWP). Sounds pretty damn hokey to me. For some reason it makes me think about Bill Fillmaff's secret system. And I think there's a physical resemblance too.

"Bryan Micon is all-in for his tournament life holding JJ versus William Thorsson who holds Q8. The flop comes 1062, with Micon's Jacks holding so far. The turn is the 2, again keeping Micon in the lead. The river comes the Q however, and Thorsson eliminates Micon in 63rd place with a pair of Queens."

that just off of cardplayer, shitty beat. I would not be able to swallow that one

This is my exact "read" on this guy too, after playing with him a few times. His stars avatar is him in a toga or something, right? Playing with him is annoying, purely because of all the railbird nonsense, if nothing else.

I've played with Rizen too, and he's good enough that I remember his name.

Checked out that site and saw that Todd Witteles is also one of the guys that runs it... he was the guy that made an ass out of himself on the WSOP '05 broadcast, complete dweeb.

Rizen has just been eliminated from the Main Event... 24th I think, not a bad finish at all.
