About to Get My Yearly B&M Fix!
Living in Central Florida, there aren't a ton of places to play poker. This Thursday, though, I will be travelling to Daytona for a convention and will get to play in the cardroom of their Greyhound Track. It's not big money and last year (before the BOOM) they only had a couple of Hold'em tables, but it's the real thing, at least.

I know what you mean, I live in Western Pennsylvania which is probably gographically the farthest point from a cardroom in the US (both AC and Detroit are 6+ hours). You will probably be surprised how many more players there are this time around.

I live on the eastern shore of maryland, so as the crow flies, I'm not very far from AC, but to drive there you have to go over the river and through the woods. So it is tough to get to any for me as well.
What do you think of the idea, of setting up a private social club, mostly for poker. Do you think there would be a market for this? If so how much do yoou think would be an acceptable monthly fee to belong to a nice club, where you could play regularly, in a B&M setting, be close to home, and not have to worry about cops, cheats, etc?? |

I play in a regular game in Satellite Beach, if you are interested in making the drive sometime. Usually Tuesdays are 5/10 and 10/20 limit, and Thursdays are NL with $2 and $5 blinds. A number of people drive from Orlando for this game.
